You mess with the bull, you get the horns. You mess with the Bear, what do you get? Some Ohio State fans might get the opportunity to find out the answer to that question first-hand.
Thursday night, No. 4 Ohio State will square off with top-ranked Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, with the winner advancing to play in the College Football Playoff championship game 11 days later. As noted by elevenwarriors.com -- really a good website if you’re unaware of it -- the road trip from Columbus to New Orleans takes you through, it just so happens, Tuscaloosa.
In the spirit of fandom, Nick Saban‘s statue got the scarlet and gray treatment. And, apparently, the temptation to utilize another Alabama legend in spelling out the name of the state from which they came was also too much for another group of traveling Buckeye fans.

Yep, that’s the Bear Bryant statue on the Tuscaloosa campus. And, yep, it’s not the first time the statue has been used as a statement piece for opposing fan bases.
But, still, build a fortress around those Aesculus glabras, OSU faithful. You never know where he may be looming. Speaking of which...
