Running back Chris Ivory has been kicked out of the Washington State football program for violating and unspecified team rule.
New head coach Paul Wulff made the announcement yesterday.
We’ve caught wind of a rumor that Ivory missed practice yesterday and that was the final straw for Wulff, although there is no confirmation as of yet.
The Seattle Times confirms that Ivory did indeed miss practice yesterday after participating Sunday.
In three years at WSU, Ivory rushed for 534 yards. Last season, the senior missed the final eight games with a hamstring injury.
This season, Ivory was buried deep on the depth chart, which likely led to at least some level of unhappiness of the back’s part.
