On the same day Florida’s expected to get starting quarterback John Brantley back from injury, the Gators could be down one of his protectors as well.
According to Antonya English of the St. Petersburg Times, starting right tackle Chaz Green may not play in the rivalry game against Georgia due to injury. English writes that Green was wearing a boot on his right foot upon entering the stadium in Jacksonville earlier today.
There’s been no official word from the school on the nature of Green’s injury or his status for the game, which is scheduled to kick-off at 3:30 ET.
Green has started seven games this season for the Gators.
