One day after taking a scary hit on a kickoff return against Washington State, Oregon backup running back Kenjon Barner has been released from Pullman Regional Hospital.
The details of Barner’s injury have yet to be released, but the sophomore back took a gruesome hit by Wazzu safety Anthony Carpenter that resulted in a ten-minute stoppage of time.
After slowly walking off the field to a stretcher, Barner was taken to Pullman Regional in an ambulance and stayed the night while undergoing a series of tests.
Barner is Oregon’s third leading rusher with 233 yards and 4 touchdowns.
