For the third straight week, Penn State will take the field without starting linebacker Sean Lee in the starting lineup, head coach Joe Paterno announced this afternoon.
Lee is still struggling with a left knee strain suffered in the win over Temple.
Some might think the fact the Nittany Lions will face Eastern Illinois this weekend factored into the decision. Paterno says you’d be wrong.
“Lee’s not going to be ready to go and it wouldn’t make any difference who we were playing,” Paterno said.
OK coach. Whatever you say.
