Once again, just as the “Days Without Arrest” meter had come dangerously close to double digits, a college football player has come through to save the day, albeit for an incident that isn’t exactly Caponian in nature.
According to the NW Arkansas Times, Arkansas cornerback Ramon Broadway had failed to appear in court to settle a ticket for failing to provide proof of insurance.
Subsequently, a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was arrested on the warrant and booked into jail last night, then released shortly thereafter after posting a $575 bond.
Broadway is listed as a starter for the Razorbacks, and it’s uncertain what if anything comes out of this “arrest”.
