Tuberville takes a slap at one of his assistants

No, seriously, he did. Literally.

In the third quarter of Texas Tech’s game with Kansas, the Red Raiders were assessed a penalty for having 12 men on the field. Of course, Tommy Tuberville did what any sane, rational, even-keeled adult would do in such an unfortunate situation -- he slapped the headphones and baseball cap off the head of one of his assistants.

You can judge for yourself Tuberville’s intent before the post-game spin sets into high gear by clicking HERE.

Tuberville is in his third year after replacing Mike Leach, who was fired after allegedly mistreating the son of former ESPN college football analyst and failed politician Craig James.

We’ll have to wait and see whether Tech officials deem Tuberville’s sideline tantrum to be acceptable behavior.
