TULANE KICKER DIES SUDDENLY AT HIS HOME

There’s sad news we have to bring you this morning as the New Orleans Times-Picayune is reporting that kicker Drew Villa has passed away.The 20-year-old walk-on died unexpectedly yesterday, and the cause of death is not yet known."We just don’t know what happened,” Lynn Odom, Villar’s aunt, told The Times-Picayune over the phone at his parent’s home. “He’s just gone."Villar walked-on at Tulane last year, but did not appear in any games.Villar’s high school coach, John Lambert, said the death is currently under investigation.
