Minnesota received a verbal commitment from three-star 2020 DE Danny Striggow.
Striggow (6'4/220), the reigning Minnesota Class 2A wrestling state champion in the 220-pound weight class, informed HC PJ Fleck of his decision Wednesday evening. The wrestling has helped the three-star defensive end on the gridiron, and the question now is if he’ll be able to add weight and remain effective at the college level. Striggow is Minnesota’s fourth defensive end commit in the 2020 class, and in total the Golden Gophers have 24 commits in this cycle.
