Welcome back to another edition of the DFS Soccer Column here on Rotoworld. We have some interesting matches this weekend that I think will provide really good fantasy value, and a few injuries from the Champions League matches in midweek to give us some chalk plays.

The most interesting match will likely be Leicester City against Manchester United. The two teams are complete opposites in style and it will be interesting to see which style dominates. Another good match will be Manchester City – Southampton, where a number of suspensions and injuries will shuffle things around. Let’s get to the charts quickly, as there’s a lot to see there this week.

NOTE****  - The image should state Elliot instead of Krul.

The two values that stand out on DraftKings are easily Wayne Hennessey and Willy Caballero. Caballero should step in for the questionable Hart, but keep track of news early tomorrow to make sure he’ll actually start. The sports books like Manchester City to keep a clean sheet and win more than anyone else, but that’s still a tough sell for me due to how bad their defense looked last time out and Southampton’s ability to finish.

Some goalkeepers to avoid this week would be Stekelenburg and Robert Elliot.

NOTE****  - The image should state Elliot instead of Krul.

MondoGoal is a bit of a similar story here. Caballero and Hennessey stand out once again, but here, Brad Guzan is priced extremely cheaply for the matchup he has. He’s certainly worth a shot in a few leagues. His counterpart, Gomes, is also worth a punt play.

The scorers are really interesting this week as only one stands out – Sergio Aguero. Aguero is miles ahead of anyone else, and it’s not surprising. He gets a decent matchup against Southampton and the only concern is his fitness, which should be monitored leading up to the game. The sports books don’t love Jamie Vardy this week despite his strong streak, and that’s mainly because he’s facing Manchester United.  Connor Wickham seems like the best value amongst the cheap strikers this week.

Not much different here on MondoGoal. The pricing is very similar this week, with Aguero standing out despite his high price.  Lukaku is certainly worth a shot on both sites as well, as he’s someone I forgot to mention in the DraftKings section. He faces a Bournemouth team that struggles in defense and could certainly be worth a shot in GPPs.

That’s it for me this week. Good luck!
