College Hoops DFS Plays: Tuesday 3/30

by Spencer Limbach
Updated On: March 30, 2021, 12:23 pm ET

Here we go with the College Hoops DFS slate for the Elite 8 NCAA Tournament games on Tuesday. There are two games on tap starting at 7:15 pm ET. Here are the listed odds of each matchup:

USC vs. Gonzaga (-8.5) / Total: 153

UCLA vs. Michigan (-7) / Total: 136

With that, let’s get to the daily fantasy analysis!

GUARDS

Andrew Nembhard - Gonzaga - FD: $5,400 - DK: $5,500

Nembhard is one of the better values on the board according to our handy CBB DFS Optimizer. I’ll cosign that, as Nembhard will be playing for a fast-paced Gonzaga team that drives the highest over/under of the night. His fantasy production has been all over the place lately, but Nembhard came through with 33 fantasy points in 36 minutes last time around. He should continue to play nearly the entire game, calling for positive value on tonight’s brief slate.

Tahj Eaddy - USC - FD: $5,600 - DK: $6,000

Eaddy was a featured DFS Play last round, and he came through with a serviceable 24 FP showing vs. Oregon. His opponent tonight, Gonzaga, plays tough defense, but the Zags’ fast pace should allow USC to see more opportunities than usual. Eaddy is averaging a steady 25 FPPG over his last five games, and that’s a reasonable expectation this evening.

Jules Bernard - UCLA - FD: $5,800 - DK: $6,100

Bernard has been one of the main drivers behind UCLA’s incredible tournament run. He’s averaging 27 FPPG over his last seven games while regularly flirting with double-doubles along the way. Bernard’s salary is pretty comfortable when considering the recent production, and the CBB DFS Optimizer identifies him as a top-five value.

Also Consider: Drew Peterson (cheap on DK), Eli Brooks

FORWARDS

Evan Mobley - USC - FD: $8,500 - DK: $8,400

It will be interesting to watch Mobley go up against Gonzaga’s talented frontcourt. As mentioned earlier, Gonzaga’s fast pace could help the Trojans see more looks than usual. Even though Mobley is expensive, I’m looking towards him as a nice play through all formats. He has one of the highest projections on this slate, and I believe his upside is superior to everyone else - if things are falling his way.

Hunter Dickinson - Michigan - FD: $7,300 - DK: $6,700

I believe Dickinson is one of the better “per dollar” plays on this slate. He’s significantly cheaper than top picks like Jalen Suggs, Evan Mobley, Corey Kispert, and Drew Timme. However, Dickinson could realistically finish in a similar fantasy range as those stars. The matchup against a middling UCLA frontcourt looks good, and this is a spot where the Michigan big man could take over the game.

Cody Riley - UCLA - FD: $5,000 - DK: $5,400

Riley isn’t a 100% must-play, but he’s worth considering as a cheap filler to round out your lineup. The main concern comes from foul trouble while guarding Dickinson. If Riley can stay on the floor, he should be able to post serviceable value akin to his 30 and 23 fantasy points over the last two games.

Also Consider: Corey Kispert, Isaiah Mobley
