FanDuel Bargain Bin: Sunday

It’s Super Bowl Sunday, but we still have some FanDuel NBA action before the big game is underway. We have four matchups on tap tonight, and lineups lock at 1:00 ET on FanDuel. So set those FanDuel NBA lineups, then begin your Super Bowl preparations this afternoon!

For "bargains" on FanDuel, typically we’ll focus on players who are priced at $6,000 or lower. I will rank the top five players that fall into this category for Sunday, February 7.

Just a quick note that these player picks were organized early in the day. For the NBA, there is usually a plethora of news trickling out through the afternoon, which could open up some more value plays. Be sure to keep posted with the NBA Headlines & Injuries section, as the wonderful contributors over there will break down the DFS consequences of every piece of news.

Now onto the bargain plays:

1 - Emmanuel Mudiay – PG – Denver (FanDuel Price: $5,400)

Jameer Nelson is doubtful once again, meaning Mudiay will continue to see heavy minutes at the point guard position. He is averaging 27 fantasy points over the past five games, and that’s a reasonable baseline for today’s matchup at New York. On this abbreviated four-game slate, Mudiay easily represents the best value point guard.

2 - Evan Turner – SF – Boston (FanDuel Price: $5,900)

Turner sees around 30 minutes per game, but his efficiency has been climbing over the past week. Some of that can be attributed to fellow small forward, Jae Crowder, playing through an injury, meaning Turner has been seeing some added responsibilities to pick up the slack. This is an amazing matchup today, as Sacramento has been friendly to the SG and SF positions all season.

3 - Jared Sullinger – PF – Boston (FanDuel Price: $5,400)

On one hand, the inconsistent minute totals are concerning. On the other hand, there aren’t many value power forwards to safely invest in, at least not with as good of a matchup as Sullinger. The Kings rank 28th in defensive efficiency against opposing power forwards, and this is easily the highest scoring matchup (216 over/under) of the day.

4 - Avery Bradley – SG – Boston (FanDuel Price: $5,500)

If you haven’t noticed by now, the Boston-Sacramento game is a fast-paced, high-scoring matchup to exploit this afternoon. Bradley stands at the middle of that, as the Kings rank 29th in defensive efficiency against shooting guards this season. Granted, Bradley has been pretty mediocre over his past three games, but he’s still seeing heavy minutes, and this is an excellent matchup to break that funk. Also, there aren’t many inspiring shooting guard plays stealing attention from him in this price range.

5 - Marco Belinelli – SG – Sacramento (FanDuel Price: $4,000)

Ben McLemore is doubtful today, meaning Belinelli will safely be entrenched in the starting lineup, seeing 35-36 minutes. He has performed decently in that role over the past three, averaging 25 fantasy points through that span. The matchup against Boston is far from ideal, but this is an all-around high-scoring game that Belinelli could fall into. More importantly, the shooting guard position is pretty weak today, making Belinelli’s case even better at this near-minimum price point.
