I’m going to give you some fades as these players either should not be in your lineup or tread carefully if you want them on your FanDuel squad. We will also be updating the goaltending matchups at the bottom of t he column all season (up to the 7pm start times for most lineups) so check the column and Rotoworld’s daily blurbs for the latest updates.

Chad Johnson G (Buffalo) - $8,600

It's hard to believe that a Buffalo netminder is the sixth highest priced goalie in FanDuel tonight but that is just what Johnson is. While he is 4-1-1 in his last six starts, he hasn't faced the toughest of opponents and tonight's test against the Rangers will be a tough one. He is 20-16-4 this season with a 2.38 GAA and a .919 save percentage but a road start in MSG is not an ideal spot.

Mike Smith G (Arizona) - $8,200

Smith gets the high-flying Washington Capitals tonight and he could be in for  a rude awakening. Smith has been terrific since returning from a three-month plus absence due to muscle core surgery but facing Alex Ovechkin and company is a lot different from his usual opponents. He has given up only nine goals in his six games back but gave up three to the Stars Thursday night and there could be a lot more of that on Saturday.

Justin Faulk D (Carolina) - $5,100

Faulk played only once in 19 games between February 7 and March 23 and has a goal and an assist in five games since. The Hurricanes are a low scoring team, especially since the trade deadline and Faulk is not even close to the form he showed early in the season when it seemed like every time he shot the puck on the power play, it went in. Look elsewhere.

Ryan McDonagh D (New York Rangers) - $5,200

McDonagh has nice stats this season with nine goals and 33 points with a plus-27 rating but he has been cold of late. He has only one assist in his last eight games and has only five shots on goal in his last six games. He has been shotless in four of those games. McDonagh is one of the higher priced blueliners on Saturday so there will be better options available to you.

Rick Nash RW (New York Rangers) - $7,100

Nash has three goals in his last five games and could be rounding into form but he has only the three goals in 10 games since returning to the lineup after missing 20 games with a knee injury. Nash could explode against the Sabres but as the third highest right winger in FanDuel Saturday, I would pass.

T.J. Oshie RW (Washington) - $5,800

Oshie has moved down to the third line with Jason Chimera and Jay Beagle and that's not a good combination if you are playing DFS. Oshie does have four goals in his last six games but don't expect a lot for the price tonight against the Coyotes. Oshie saw first line action on Friday as Nicklas Backstrom sat out for precautionary reasons but he could go today.

Max Pacioretty LW (Montreal) - $6,700

Pacioretty has been all over the place of late as he had two goals and a plus-three rating two games ago but he went minus-seven with one assist over three games a week earlier. The Canadiens are in tough Saturday as they are in Sunrise to play the Panthers, so Pacioretty is not exactly getting the best matchup.

Tyler Johnson C (Tampa Bay) - $6,100

It has not been a good season for Johnson who was a stud last season and more of a dud to his fantasy owners in 2015-16. He has gone scoreless in his last two outings but had a couple of goals in two games before that. Johnson has only 14 goals and 37 points in 64 games after a 73 point performance last season.
