Updated On: October 4, 2018, 4:04 pm ET

I’m going to give you some fades as these players either should not be in your lineup or tread carefully if you want them on your FanDuel squad. We will also be updating the goaltending matchups at the bottom of the column all season (up to the 7pm start times for most lineups) so check the column and Rotoworld’s daily blurbs for the latest updates.

Editor's Note: This is your chance to try FanDuel risk free! Sign up today and if you lose your first contest, you’ll be refunded the entry fee up to $10. Play now.

Karri Ramo(Calgary Flames) - $7,400

Look for Ramo to get the night off as Jonas Hiller is scheduled to face Detroit. Ramo is having a fairly good season but the Flames have been less than stellar this season. Ramo stopped 19 of 22 shots Saturday and it wsa his first loss in six games but Calgary needs to get Hiller a start.

Mark Giordano(Calgary Flames) - $7,000

Giordano had a big game on Saturday with a goal and an assist against the Blues but it has been anything but a good year for the defenseman. He has seven goals and 14 points this season in 32 games but his minus-13 rating is a concern. He has had some big seasons in the last two years so he is definitely capable, but I would take a pass tonight.

Kris Russell(Calgary Flames) - $6,100

It certainly looks like there is a Calgary bias but Russell has only two goals and nine points this season. He has only 34 shots on goal in 29 games so his fantasy value is negligible.

Derek Stepan C (New York Rangers) - $7,200

Stepan just returned on Friday from broken ribs and it's just not an easy way to play as I'm sure he is still sore. He has six goals and 12 points in 24 games and I would wait until he has done something before using him in a FanDuel game.

Brandon Pirri LW (Florida Panthers) - $6,400

Pirri has been hot of late but overall this season he has been only so-so. Pirri has seven goals and 18 points this season in  33 games which is fine but I think the Canucks will be able to shut him down.

Jannik Hansen RW (Vancouver Canucks) - $5,600

Hansen has nine goals and 18 points this season for the Canucks but only a couple of goals and an assist in his last 10 games. The right winger often goes into long slumps and this is another one.
