I’m going to give you some fades as these players either should not be in your lineup or tread carefully if you want them on your FanDuel squad. We will also be updating the goaltending matchups at the bottom of t he column all season (up to the 7pm start times for most lineups) so check the column and Rotoworld’s daily blurbs for the latest updates.

Editor's Note: This is your chance to try FanDuel risk free! Sign up today and if you lose your first contest, you’ll be refunded the entry fee up to $10. Play now.

Pekka Rinne G (Nashville) - $8,500

The Predators are on the road to take on Carolina and that's not good news for Rinne owners as Rinne has lost his last eight road games. That will eventually come to an end but you should always ride streaks be it bad or good, until they end.

Philipp Grubauer G (Washington) - $7,700

It looks like Braden Holtby is going to get the start in the Washington net (as he usually does) so this is not a smart play. Grubauer just played on Thursday and unless Holtby comes down with an illness or injury, there is no way Grubauer will see the net Saturday.

Victor Hedman D (Tampa Bay) - $6,400

Hedman is pointless in his last four games and was a minus-three to boot on Thursday so he definitely has not helped out your FanDuel teams of late. He has only two goals and 16 assists in 37 games so Hedman is just an average defenseman halfway into the NHL season.

Alex Pietrangelo D (St. Louis) - $6,400

Pietrangelo was highly touted as a junior and had a couple of big seasons thus far in the NHL but his scoring is down significantly this season as he has only two goals and 15 points in 40 games with a minus-five rating. Kevin Shattenkirk is the go-to defenseman with the Blues and while Pietrangelo is good, his salary cap hit does not justify taking him Saturday.

Jarome Iginla RW (Colorado) - $6,200

Iginla is only one goal away from 600 in his career and while he faces his old team, the Calgary Flames, the game is in Denver so it won't be the same as it would be in Calgary. He was minus-two in his last game and has 10 goals and 20 points with a minus-11 rating. It would be nice if he could score number 600 Saturday but I would bet against it.

Andrew Ladd LW (Winnipeg) - $7,100

Ladd has only two goals and four points in his last 10 games and while his 10 goals and 22 points in 37 games are okay, it doesn't inspire a lot of confidence for a big game on Saturday. He is also a minus-five. Ladd gets plenty of shots on goal as he has 93 already this season, so that will help his FanDuel totals but there are better selections on the left side.

Alex Killorn LW (Tampa Bay) - $6,200

Killorn was hot briefly a couple of weeks ago but has only one assist in his last four games and with six goals and 16 points in 37 games, he really isn't a great play Saturday. He has 65 shots on goal in 37 games but has only 10 penalty minutes.

Sean Monahan C (Calgary) - $8,100

Monahan is a nice hockey player but no way does he deserve to be ranked so high among centers on Saturday. He has only 12 goals and 26 points this season and has only one assist with a minus-three rating in his last five games. Look down the list of centers today to get a better choice.

Mike Ribeiro C (Nashville) - $6,200

The talented center has scored only four goals this season. While his 21 assists are nice the lack of shots on goal (32 in 38 games) really hurt his fantasy value. Ribeiro gets a lot of time on the power play but it is not helping his fantasy value very much this season.
