Welcome to FanDuel Fades where we focus on players that we think you should avoid tonight.  Be sure to check out the list of probable goaltenders below as well.  We'll update it during the afternoon, so please keep that in mind.

Brandon Saad RW (Columbus) - $5,900

Saad has been relatively quiet lately with no goals and three assists in his last nine games.  When he breaks out of this slump, he'll probably be a good pick, but it's better to just keep an eye on him in the short term.

Zach Parise LW (MInnesota) - $8,000

The Wild as a team have struggled lately and Parise has been part of the problem.  He has a goal, no assists and a minus-six rating in his last six contests.  This season has been something of a mixed bag overall for him - at least relative to that high price point - as he has 17 goals, 28 points, and a minus-three rating in 39 games.

Andrei Markov D (Montreal) - $4,000

Markov is certainly tempting at that low price, but I'd still urge caution.  It's worth emphasizing that he has just five points in his last 23 games and he's posted a minus-one rating in each of his last four contests.  In fact, those that have taken him in any of his last three contests have gotten a negative FanDuel point total out of him, which means that lately it would have been better to take a player that didn't play over Markov.

Tyler Seguin C (Dallas) - $7,700

Even the best of players have rough patches and this is Seguin's.  He has been limited to two goals and three points in his last 10 games.  To make matters worse, he was minus-two on Saturday, reducing his plus/minus rating to minus-six over that 10-game span.  Wait for him to start to break out of this slump before going back to him.

Dennis Wideman D (Calgary) - $4,600

Wideman had 56 points last season, but it's safe to say that he's not going to finish anywhere near that mark in 2015-16 as he's been limited to two goals and 19 points in 46 games.  That lack of goals scored (he had 15 in 2014-15) and his minus-10 rating have taken its toll on his FanDuel points per game, which sits at just 1.5 this season.  To give that number some context, teammate T.J. Brodie is at 2.2 FPPG and he comes at the exact same price point.  On top of that, Wideman is working through a cold streak as he's gone five games without a point.

Derick Brassard C (NY Rangers) - $6,500

Brassard has had a good season for the most part, but he's going through a season-high five game point drought and he's been limited to just three points in his last 11 contests.  It might be best to let him work through this before going back to him.
