FanDuel Fades: January 3

Welcome to FanDuel Fades where we highlight players you might want to avoid tonight.  You'll also find a list of probable goaltenders below, which gets updated during the afternoon.

Anze Kopitar (LAK) - C - $6,700

Hopefully at some point in the not too distant future Kopitar will start to heat up, but I recommend waiting until that starts before taking him in daily leagues.  As it is, Kopitar has just a goal and an assist in his last 12 games.

Kyle Okposo (BUF) - W - $6,400

Okposo has had some strong stretches this season, but he isn't in one of them.  In fact over his last seven games he has one goal and no assists.  It hasn't helped that the Sabres in general have been struggling lately, but their job isn't about to get any easier as they'll have to visit the Rangers and Blackhawks in their next two games.

Victor Rask (CAR) - C - $5,900

Rask had a productive stretch from Dec. 8-16 where he scored a goal and seven points in four games, but he's gone cold again.  He has an assist in his last six games and is on a four-game point drought.

James Neal (NAS) - W - $6,900

Neal found the back of the net twice on Dec. 20, but unfortunately he's been held off the scoresheet in six of his last seven games.  Consequently, he's been a bad bet more often than not lately and until he enters another period of relative consistency, he's probably better to pass on.

Michael Cammalleri (NJD) - W - $5,200

Cammalleri has nine goals and 19 points in 32 games this season, but those numbers are skewed by his incredible stretch from Nov. 6 through Dec. 3 when he scored nine goals and 14 points in eight games.  Since then he's been a bad investment in daily leagues, recording no goals and two assists in his last 14 contests.

Evgeny Kuznetsov (WAS) - C - $6,300

Kuznetsov has been limited to two assists in his last seven games.  He also hasn't found the back of the net since Nov. 23.  To make matters worse, he was limited to 14:44 minutes on Saturday and then he tied his season-low with 13:40 minutes on Sunday.

Roman Josi (NAS) - D - $6,200

Josi found the back of the net three times in the span of five games from Dec. 3-10, but he hasn't scored a goal since.  That would be alright if he was still getting helpers, but he has just two assists in his last nine games.
