As is the case with every FanDuel Fades, we are going to look at some players who you should think twice about placing in your lineup or who you should avoid using entirely. Remember to check back on this page later in the day for confirmations on starting goalies and keep an eye on Rotoworld's daily blurbs for all your fantasy hockey needs.

Zach Parise LW (Minnesota) - $7,300

Parise has one goal in the last 18 games and he hasn't scored since Feb. 15 against Vancouver. A visit from the Edmonton Oilers looks good on paper, but Cam Talbot has been superb recently. Parise has been picking up assists during his goal drought, but there are much less costly options available with better upside.

Vincent Trocheck C (Florida) - $6,400

Trocheck and teammate Aleksander Barkov are the same price Thursday night and if I had to choose between the two than I would take Barkov. Trocheck has picked up three assists in the last five games, while Barkov has a goal and three helpers over that span. Barkov also has four goals and seven points in seven contests since returning from injury.

Jeff Skinner LW (Carolina) - $6,500

Skinner has been a roll with three multi-point performances in his last four outings. He has netted four goals during that span and he has 12 shots in his last two games. However, now is a good time to look elsewhere as the Hurricanes will be matched up against the streaking Boston Bruins. Tuukka Rask has been superb against the Hurricanes in his career and Skinner has three goals and three assists in 16 appearances versus Thursday's opponent.

Tomas Plekanec C (Montreal) - $5,400

Alex Galchenyuk has been on a scoring tear since he was moved to the top-line center role. With Brendan Gallagher injured, Plekanec has Paul Byron and Stefan Matteau as his linemates. He hasn't found the back of the net since Feb. 9 when he scored twice against Tampa Bay. Plekanec also hasn't picked up a point in his last four contests and he has one shot in each of those games.

Marc-Edouard Vlasic D (San Jose) - $5,300

Vlasic has been quiet on the scoresheet over the last five games with no goals and one assist. He racked up 20 penalty minutes against Vancouver on Mar. 5, but that isn't something you should expect to see more of because he has only 43 minutes in the sin bin this season. Ryan Suter ($5,000) and Andrei Markov ($4,400) are cheaper options and they have been racking up points lately.

Mike Condon G (Montreal) - $7,100

Condon will face the low-scoring Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night, but I wouldn't trust him as my crease option. He has a 1-2-0 record versus Buffalo this season to go with a 2.69 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage.
