As is the case with every FanDuel Fades, we are going to look at some players who you should think twice about placing in your lineup or who you should avoid using entirely. Remember to check back on this page later in the day for confirmations on starting goalies and keep an eye on Rotoworld's daily blurbs for all your fantasy hockey needs.

Henrik Lundqvist G (New York Ranger) - $10,000
Lundqvist checks in as the highest-priced player on a packed schedule Thursday night. He also doesn't have an easy match-up on the road against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Lundqvist blanked the Penguins in Pittsburgh on Feb. 10, but now Evgeni Malkin is back in the fold and the offense has been clicking. There are better options.
Sidney Crosby C (Pittsburgh) - $9,500
Crosby's last appearance against the Rangers resulted in no points and a minus-3 rating. I do not expect a similar performance on Thursday, but I wouldn't break the bank to roster him either. Crosby has one goal in the last 10 games and outside of a couple of multi-point performances, he hasn't been meeting his value on FanDuel during that span.
Brad Marchand LW (Boston) - $8,000
Marchand was on fire in February with 12 goals and four assists in 14 games. He will not maintain that kind of pace for the rest of the season and he has not recorded a point in the last two games. It's premature to suggest that he is cooling down right now, but there are better values to be had at left wing and the visiting Chicago Blackhawks will not be easy to play against despite skating in Detroit on Wednesday night.
Brendan Gallagher LW (Montreal) - $6,200
Montreal continues their West Coast road trip Thursday in Los Angeles. The Canadiens dropped a 3-2 shootout decision to Anaheim on Wednesday and the Kings need a victory with the surging Ducks just behind them in the Pacific Division. Gallagher, who has one goal in four games against Los Angeles in his career, and the Canadiens could be in store for a long night.
Mike Hoffman LW (Ottawa) - $5,500
Hoffman has 25 goals in 60 games this season, but he has found the back of the net just seven times in his last 26 appearances. He has no goals and two assists in 10 career matches versus Tampa Bay, who enter Thursday's match on a seven-game winning streak. Hoffman is not the bargain he appears to be at first glance.
Derick Brassard C (New York Rangers) - $7,300
Brassard has posted one assist in the past five games and he has posted one shot or less in three of those outings. There are plenty of centers to choose from on Thursday with better upside than Brassard and several of them won't cost nearly as much.
Ryan Johansen C (Nashville) - $6,300
Johansen picked up an assist on Tuesday to end a seven-game scoring skid. However, he still hasn't scored a goal since Feb. 4. Nashville has been playing well despite Johansen's scoring woes, so there are less expensive options if you want to load up on Predators against New Jersey.
Brent Burns D (San Jose) - $7,100
Burns is sure to attract some interest after he posted three points against Montreal on Monday. He didn't have a point in his previous two games and that included a visit to Vancouver, where he will play again on Thursday night. Save your cap space and look elsewhere.
Keith Yandle D (New York Rangers) - $5,500
Yandle has picked up two helpers in the last five games following a five-game point streak. He hasn't scored a goal since Feb. 6 and he has just four markers on the season. Yandle has two multi-point efforts this year and none since Dec. 15, so he has much less upside than Duncan Keith ($5,600) and Roman Josi ($5,500), who have similar prices.
Matt Duchene C (Colorado) - $6,600
Duchene hasn't reached two fantasy points on FanDuel in his last three games and he has one assist during that time. He has also struggled a bit at home this season with only eight goals and 19 points in 32 games.
Corey Crawford G (Chicago) - $9,600
Chicago hasn't confirmed a starter yet for Thursday's game after a 5-2 win over Detroit on Wednesday. It wouldn't be surprising if Scott Darling got the nod in the second game of the back-to-back situation. Crawford has a 1-3-1 record with a 2.98 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage in his career versus Boston. You are better off steering clear of him tonight.
Jonas Hiller G (Calgary) - $6,500
Hiller has a 9-9-1 record this season along with a 3.33 goals-against average and an .885 save percentage. I wouldn't trust him even against a Buffalo team that has struggled to score this season. Joni Ortio has outplayed Hiller lately and it's very puzzling that the Flames aren't going with him in this contest.
