Welcome to the FanDuel Fades where we highlight players that we think you should avoid tonight.  It's worth emphasizing that this is meant exclusively for daily leagues and the players are being weighed against their FanDuel prices.  This is NOT meant to provide any insight into how we view these players in playoffs-long fantasy leagues.  After the recommendations you'll find today's list of probable goaltenders, which we update during the afternoon.

Editor's Note: This is your chance to try FanDuel risk free! Sign up today and if you lose your first contest, you’ll be refunded the entry fee up to $10. Play now.

Patrick Sharp RW (Dallas) - $6,200

Sharp has had two good games over his last eight contests, but he's been held off the scoresheet entirely in the other six games over that span.  If you're willing to spend money on a right winger today, your best bet would be Joe Pavelski ($8,400), who is on a four-game point streak and has six goals and 10 points in seven playoff contests.  Alternatively, if you need a budget player then you might want to consider Jonathan Drouin ($4,900), who has a goal and six points in his last four games.  Sharp sits in between them from a pricing perspective and looks significantly less desirable than either at this time.

Paul Stastny C (St. Louis) - $5,100

Stastny has been quiet offensively in the 2016 playoffs with no goals, two assists, and a minus-four rating in nine contests.  Granted, he is cheap at this point, but there are so many desirable centers out there tonight.  Just to give a couple alternatives, Ryan Johansen ($6,300) has five points in his last five games and Cody Eakin ($4,200) has seven assists in his last seven games.

Filip Forsberg LW (Nashville) - $6,900

On an offensive production level, Forsberg's second playoff run isn't going nearly as well as his first.  He had four goals and six points in six games in 2015, but this year he has just a goal and two assists in nine contests.  To make matters worse he's on a seven-game point slump and was minus-four over his last two games.

James Neal RW (Nashville) - $6,600

Neal has been held off the scoresheet in seven of his last eight games.  In that same span, he's been held to less than one FanDuel point in five separate contests.  This is all in contrast to the regular season where he scored 31 goals and 58 points in 82 contests.

Alexander Steen LW (St. Louis) - $6,200

Steen went from recording 52 points in 67 regular season games to four points in nine playoff contests.  He's only found the back of the net once in the 2016 postseason and in his last five games he has no goals, two assists, and a minus-four rating.

Marc-Edouard Vlasic D (San Jose) - $5,000

Vlasic has been limited to a pair of assists in seven playoff contests.  If you can manage it, this would be a good night to spend on defensemen.  Brent Burns ($8,100) has been on fire during the playoffs with 11 points in seven games.  As for some cheaper options, John Klingberg ($5,500) has a goal and four points in his last four contests while Kevin Shattenkirk ($5,400) has three points in his last two games.

Tampa Bay (Ben Bishop) confirmed @ NY Islanders (Thomas Greiss) confirmed

San Jose (Martin Jones) confirmed @ Nashville (Pekka Rinne)

Dallas (Antti Niemi)  @ St. Louis (Brian Elliott) confirmed
