There's 14 games today, but most leagues will ignore the 1:00 p.m. ET contest between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Buffalo Sabres. Be sure to take a look at the goaltending matchups at the bottom of the page and check back later as it will be updated. You can also check out Rotoworld's probable starters page here.

James van Riemsdyk LW (Leafs) - $5,900
van Riemsdyk has recorded 61 and 56 points in his last two campaigns, but Phil Kessel was a common linemate of his during that span. Now that Kessel is in Pittsburgh, van Riemsdyk is likely to take a step back this season. Even if you believe he can be a substantial offensive threat on his own though, it's better to wait a few weeks and see how he's doing than take a risk on him at this early stage of the campaign.
Brad Marchand LW (Bruins) - $5,300
Boston's offense is a question mark in general this season, but you'll want to avoid it today in particular as the Bruins will be facing Montreal and Carey Price. Under other circumstances, Marchand would be a serviceable, but not great option.
Loui Eriksson RW (Bruins) - $5,300
The main reason to avoid him is the same as Marchand: It's not worth betting on Boston's offense against Carey Price. Eriksson would be someone worth avoiding either way though. Although he's just 30 years old, he's taken a substantial step back from his days of recording 70 points per campaign. While his price has certainly declined as well, it's still too high to make it worth taking a chance on him at this time.
Jonathan Toews C (Blackhawks) $7,400
The Chicago Blackhawks have been forced to hit the ground running with three games in four days. Toews had an assist in each of his last two contests, but I'm concerned about fatigue being a factor tonight against the New York Islanders. While he's typically a good guy to grab at that price, I'd look elsewhere today.
Corey Crawford G (Blackhawks) $8,500
Chicago is expected to start Scott Darling tonight, so it would be a big blow to your team if you took Crawford. Under normal circumstances, that wouldn't be a bad price for Crawford.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson D (Coyotes) - $5,900
Normally Ekman-Larsson would be a fine pickup at that price, but he'll be up against a talented Pittsburgh Penguins squad that has something to prove after getting shutout of their season opener. This could be a very one-sided game against Arizona and that would likely make this a very bad night for Ekman-Larsson.
Patrick Sharp RW (Stars) - $7,200
That's a steep price for Sharp given that he only recorded 43 points last season. Granted, he could bounce back in Dallas, but it'd be better to let some time pass to see if that's the case rather than take a chance on him now.
Henrik Lundqvist G (Rangers) - $9,400
Lundqvist is expected to start today, but it will be his third game in four days. When you're playing that kind of money for a goaltender, you want to feel like you have a safe bet and given Lundqvist's lack of rest and the decent quality of his opponent (Columbus), he doesn't qualify as that tonight.
