FanDuel NBA Bargains: Sunday

When looking at “bargains” on FanDuel, typically we’ll focus on players who are priced at $6,000 or lower.

We have another three-game playoff slate upon us, meaning I will be ranking the top five bargains by priority to your FanDuel NBA lineups.

Just a quick note that these player picks were organized early in the day. For the NBA, there is usually a plethora of news trickling out through the afternoon, which could open up some more value plays. Be sure to keep posted with the NBA Headlines & Injuries section, as the wonderful contributors over there will break down the DFS consequences of every piece of news.

Now onto the bargain plays.

1 - Shaun Livingston – PG – Golden State (FanDuel Price: $4,500)

You could realistically look to George Hill for a similar salary. However, I’m leaning towards Livingston of the two, as he has a higher floor/ceiling combination in a better, higher-scoring matchup. Livingston should continue to see around 30 minutes with Stephen Curry out for at least another week. Within that role, He has been between 28-32 fantasy points, and we can safely project him somewhere in that range today.

2 - Mason Plumlee – C – Portland (FanDuel Price: $6,300)

Plumlee has dominated the FanDuel Bargain headlines throughout the playoffs so far. The matchup is a little trickier against an efficient Golden State defense, but I believe Plumlee will come through with another solid outing. The combination of minutes, role, pace, and confidence following a dominant series vs the Clippers should help Plumlee churn out another satisfying stat line. On top of that, I’m not seeing many well-priced centers with the same ability to exceed value thresholds like Plumlee.

3 - Andre Iguodala – SF – Golden State (FanDuel Price: $4,500)

As I mentioned earlier, Stephen Curry is out, which means Iguodala will see a higher usage rate and more ball-handling responsibilities. He has been decent within that role, hitting 31, 18, 35, and 21 fantasy points respectively in the past four. As you can see, he’s not necessarily a lock to give you the fantasy line you crave, but he also won’t hurt you, and the upside is certainly plausible.

4 - Frank Kaminsky – PF – Charlotte (FanDuel Price: $3,800)

This depends on Nic Batum’s status, and we’ll probably receive word before lineups lock, as this CHA-MIA game is the first one of the day. Batum sat out the second half on Friday, and Kaminsky picked up the slack by finishing with 36 minutes and 27 fantasy points. He could start if Batum is out, which would make him a safe, easy value commodity. If Batum is playing, I’ll likely ignore Kaminsky.

5 - Jeremy Lin – SG – Charlotte (FanDuel Price: $4,600)

Lin was pretty bad last game, hitting just 8 fantasy points in 24 minutes. However, he has been pretty good throughout this series, accumulating 31, 27, and 27 fantasy points respectively in three games prior to his clunker on Friday. On top of that, he’s one of the few cheap shooting guards who is actually seeing 30+ minutes per contest. If you need salary cap relief at the position, I don’t mind taking a chance on Lin, hoping we see the version that played very well in games 3-5 of this series.
