FanDuel NBA Bargains Wednesday

When looking at bargains on FanDuel, typically we’ll focus on players who are priced at $6,000 or lower. I’ll be ranking these picks by priority to your lineups for tonight’s eight-game slate starting at 7:00 ET.

Just a quick note that these player picks were organized early in the day. For the NBA, there is usually a plethora of news trickling out through the afternoon, which could open up some more value plays. Be sure to keep posted with the NBA Headlines & Injuries section, as the wonderful contributors over there will break down the DFS consequences of every piece of news.

Now onto the bargain plays.

1 - Tyler Ulis – PG – Phoenix (FanDuel Price: $6,200)

The Suns will remain shorthanded in the backcourt for the remainder of the season, meaning Ulis will continue to log heavy playing time. He has routinely seen 40-43 minutes with a 35 FPPG average over the past 12. Ulis’ salary should realistically be within the $7000-$7500 range, and we can comfortably roster him in all formats while looking at a high-scoring draw vs Golden State.

2 - Lou Williams – SG – Houston (FanDuel Price: $4,600)

Speaking of underpriced, let me introduce you to Lou Williams. The somewhat-newly acquired Rocket has been seeing more playing time and usage with Ryan Anderson out. That should continue to be the case (Anderson doubtful), and Lou has notched a baseline of 31 minutes and 27 fantasy points in that role (past five games). Throw in a tasty matchup vs Denver, who ranks bottom five vs opposing backcourts, and you’re looking at a confident fantasy play in all formats.

3 - Larry Nance Jr. – PF – LA Lakers (FanDuel Price: $4,100)

Underpriced player #3. Ivica Zubac has been deemed out for the season, benefitting Nance with more playing time and production as of late. He turned in a gem despite a tough matchup vs Memphis on Monday (40 minutes, 37 FP). Tarik Black is questionable for the Lakers, and his absence would further Nance’s upside. I like him either way, as the salary is simply too cheap.

4 - Matt Barnes – SF – Golden State (FanDuel Price: $3,600)

Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green are out for the Warriors tonight, meaning Barnes should step into solid minutes between 27-30. The matchup looks favorable as well, playing up in pace against an all-around porous Phoenix defense. Go ahead and lock him in for value, allowing you to pay up for studs like Curry, LeBron, or Harden.

5 - Clint Capela – C – Houston (FanDuel Price: $5,500)

The Center position doesn’t have many inspiring plays tonight. I’m finding myself zeroing in on Capela and Valanciunas as bargain picks. Capela is the ultimate choice, as the high-scoring game environment (239 over/under) sets the backdrop for fantasy success. In two recent games against the Nuggets, Capela has followed through with 30 and 33 fantasy points. I’m expecting him to be within that range again tonight.
