We have ten games of NHL action on this Tuesday evening. The Chicago Blackhawks, Dallas Stars and Boston Bruins are tonight’s biggest favorites, and we have four teams (Los Angeles Kings, Nashville Predators, Detroit Red Wings, and the Montreal Canadiens) playing on consecutive nights.

GOALTENDERS

Make sure to check the RotoGrinders NHL Starting Goalies Page to confirm that the goalies listed below are starting prior to game time.

Corey Crawford, Chicago Blackhawks, $9,600 – Crawford has been rock solid in net for the Blackhawks this season (2.22 GAA, .925 SV%, 5 SO) and he is easily my top cash game goaltender this evening. The Arizona Coyotes are one of the NHL’s weaker offenses and I don’t see them doing much damage to Crawford in this game. Crawford is our safest bet for a win and our best chance at a shutout.

Other Goalies To Target (Cash Games) – Antti Niemi, Cory Schneider, Roberto Luongo, Jake Allen

Other Goalies To Target (Tournaments) – Jonathan Quick, Cam Ward, Connor Hellebuyck

CENTERS

Tyler Seguin, Dallas Stars, $9,400 – The Columbus Blue Jackets have been at or near the bottom of the league in most defensive categories all season long and the Dallas Stars’ offense should dominate this hockey game. Seguin is a cash game beast and I see another multi-point game in his future.

Other Centers to Target (Cash Games) –John Tavares, Ryan Getzlaf, Patrice Bergeron, Sean Monahan, Jonathan Toews, Bryan Little, Aleksander Barkov

Other Centers to Target (Tournaments) – Jason Spezza, Anze Kopitar, Mika Zibanejad, Frans Nielsen, Tyler Bozak, Adam Henrique, Artem Anisimov, Leon Draisaitl

WINGERS

Johnny Gaudreau, Calgary Flames, $9,500 – With five goals and 12 shots on net in his last two games, it is safe to say Gaudreau is the hottest sniper on the planet. The 22-year-old phenom has been tearing it up in December, with 12 goals and 18 points in just 11 games. Look for Gaudreau to remain hot versus an underachieving Anaheim Ducks squad.

Artemi Panarin, Chicago Blackhawks, $6,300 - The Arizona Coyotes are the National Hockey League’s fourth-worst team in terms of Corsi, and they have allowed the eighth-most shots against and the most goals against per game this month. Goaltender Anders Lindback will get the start in net and he may very well be the worst goalie in the game. I am all over the Chicago Blackhawks’ second line, and Artemi Panarin is the best bang for your buck on this line.

Loui Eriksson, Boston Bruins, $5,200 – Eriksson is one of few players whom remain reasonably priced on FanDuel despite great production this season. The Ottawa Senators continue to be a team I want to pick on. As the National Hockey League’s second-worst possession team, Ottawa has allowed the seventh-most goals against and the most shots against per game this season. Eriksson has been a steady cash game producer all year long and he should have plenty of scoring opportunities in this game.

Other Wingers to Target (Cash Games) – Patrick Kane, Jamie Benn, Mike Hoffman, Vladimir Tarasenko, Corey Perry, Kyle Okposo, Jaromir Jagr, Blake Wheeler, Taylor Hall

Other Wingers to Target (Tournaments) – Mark Stone, Josh Bailey, James van Riemsdyk, Jeff Skinner, Mikkel Boedker, Gustav Nyquist, Tyler Toffoli, Teddy Purcell

DEFENSEMEN

John Klingberg, Dallas Stars, $6,600 - There is a lot to like on defense tonight, but with Krug a game-time decision and the Giordano/Brodie combo facing the dynamic duo of Getzlaf and Perry, Klingberg becomes my number one choice on defense. The Columbus Blue Jackets are really struggling lately (2-6-2 in their past ten games) and they are currently sitting in the NHL’s basement in terms of points this season. Klingberg has big game upside in this plus matchup.

Other Defensemen to Target (Cash Games) – Erik Karlsson, Torey Krug, Justin Faulk, Mark Giordano, T.J. Brodie

Other Defensemen to Target (Tournaments) – P.K. Subban, Nick Leddy, Cam Fowler, Niklas Kronwall, Noah Hanifin, Damon Severson, Dmitry Kulikov
