DRAFT is back for another season of quick and exciting daily fantasy action. Their DFS platform offers poolies with a chance to participate in a format that most of us have grown very accustomed to over the years. You can compete in a live snake draft in which the participants take a player with each pick. Unlike other DFS games, this gives you the opportunity to use your knowledge to craft a team that no one else will have because the players you select cannot be chosen by your competition.
The draft is quick as you are allotted just 30 seconds per pick and you take five players. Your team is comprised of three forwards, a defenseman and a goalie.
Your strategy can be dictated by the positions being selected ahead of you. For instance, if you are going last and everyone else has a goaltender then you can wait until your last pick to make that selection. Of course, selecting players going up against weaker competition or players who are riding hot streaks are always popular strategies as well.
Editor's Note: If you love Fantasy Football you have to be playing on DRAFT. It's daily fantasy football snake drafts instead of salary caps. All the fun of season long drafts but with no management and they last for just one week. They take minutes to complete and there's even auction drafts! No more setting lineups or constantly worrying about pros, just draft and win! Right now DRAFT is giving Rotoworld readers an exclusive FREE entry into a real money draft when you make your first deposit! Here's the link
Remember, there are new pools available to play in but the players in my rankings will fall off the table as soon as the puck drops in their respective game.
Familiarize yourself with the rues and enjoy! It’s a great game! Wednesday’s four-game slate features some four-person and plenty of three-person drafts. There are also head-to-heads and Dream Team formats to participate in.
Forward Rankings:
MacKinnon, Rantanen, and Landeskog are playing in their second game in as many days and are up against Minnesota, which has been tough to score against so far this season. Even still, that trio is so hot that it's hard to bet against them right now. Meanwhile, Crosby got off to a bit of a slow start, at least by his standards, but he has three goals and six points in his last three games.
Defenseman Rankings:
PK Subban
Mathew Dumba
Letang has excelled since the start of the campaign, but he's particularly hot right now with five points in his last three games. Carlson is doing extremely well too, but I'm a little worried about Washington today. Calgary is coming off an embarrassing loss to Pittsburgh and will be looking to respond in a big way.
Goalie Rankings:
I'd have Dubnyk higher if he wasn't playing against the red hot Colorado Avalanche. Crawford has been amazing since his return with a 1.52 GAA and .946 save percentage in four games.

Now, let’s also look at some players to consider for FanDuel and DraftKings. Keep in mind that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL).
Brayden Point (TBL) – C - $6,400 FanDuel, $6,700 DraftKings
Max Domi (MON) – C - $5,900 FanDuel, $5,400 DraftKings
Ryan O'Reilly (STL) – C - $5,800 FanDuel, $5,900 DraftKings
Mikko Rantanen (COL) – W - $7,200 FanDuel, $6,700 DraftKings
Gabriel Landeskog (COL) – W - $6,700 FanDuel, $6,600 DraftKings
Alex DeBrincat (CHI) – W - $6,400 FanDuel, $6,800 DraftKings
Josh Anderson (CBJ) – W - $4,400 FanDuel, $5,300 DraftKings
Ryan Suter (MIN) – D - $5,500 FanDuel, $5,800 DraftKings
Seth Jones (CBJ) – D - $5,200 FanDuel, $6,300 DraftKings
Corey Crawford (CHI) – G - $7,900 FanDuel, $7,900 DraftKings
Jones missed the start of the campaign, but he’s logged an average of 25:01 minutes and has a goal in two games since returning. FanDuel seems to be undervaluing him significantly right now, so you’ll want to take advantage of that.
