Want to try your hand at some FanDuel GPP tournaments tonight? It’s an action-packed Friday in the NBA, so use DraftCheat’s top tourney targets to help you on your way to daily fantasy success.

Point Guard

Jameer Nelson, Denver Nuggets, $4,400 - With Ty Lawson (DUI) looking very likely to miss out on tonight’s game vs. the Celtics, Nelson should step into the starting role and see all the minutes he can handle. He’s been productive off the bench for the Nuggets so far and should be able to easily meet value with the increased minutes.

Elfrid Payton, Orlando Magic, $5,900 - His counterpart in this game, Langston Galloway, will be a much more popular pick, but I like Payton’s chances to succeed in this game. We saw what Michael Carter-Williams did to the Knicks’ point guard defense on Wednesday, and it may be more of the same from the talented youngster for the Magic.

Editor's Note: Rotoworld's partner FanDuel is hosting a one-day $300,000 Fantasy Basketball league for Friday's NBA games. It's $25 to join and first prize is $30,000. Starts at 7pm ET on FridayHere's the FanDuel link.

Shooting Guard

Tyreke Evans, New Orleans Pelicans, $7,500 - Jrue Holiday remains out, so Evans will resume his starting point guard duties for the Pelicans. With Ryan Anderson also missing out, there are a few more shots to go around, and the matchup is certainly there for Tyreke tonight in Minnesota.

Eric Gordon, New Orleans Pelicans, $5,400 - Pairing up the starting backcourt for the Pelicans will be a good move tonight. Both of these guys are going to play huge minutes against a team that plays no defense. Gordon should continue his great run of games vs. the Wolves tonight, and his price has still not caught up with his production.

Small Forward

DeMarre Carroll, Atlanta Hawks, $5,400 - The Hawks’ small forward will be tasked with guarding the great Kevin Durant tonight, an unenviable position for any player. But the matchup is just fine on the offensive side of the ball, as Carroll should see extra run given that he has the best chance of slowing KD.

Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder, $10,800 - It’s a tough matchup against an elite Hawks’ squad tonight, but the Thunder need wins in a bad way, and Durant is going to continue to see heavy minutes and will perform well in almost any matchup. The Hawks play at a decent pace and Durant will need to have a monster performance for the Thunder to have a chance in this game.

Power Forward

Donatas Motiejunas, Houston Rockets, $5,400 - The Rockets’ power forward is coming off a bad performance against Golden State, but this matchup with the Suns is one that should suit his skillset. While he’s not really capable of the 40+ fantasy point performance, Motie will give you a solid 25-30 most nights, and at his price tag that will do just fine. He also is low owned most nights and should be again tonight, since he’s coming off a poor game.

Jared Sullinger, Boston Celtics, $6,600 - Sullinger is a player that often flies under the radar, but he is a great tournament play due to his typical low ownership and high upside. He’ll put up 40 fantasy points from time to time, and this could be a night for that with fellow big Kelly Olynyk out injured and the fast-paced matchup in Denver. This game should stay relatively close too, with the Nuggets missing their best player in Ty Lawson.

Center

Dwight Howard, Houston Rockets, $8,100 - Howard has had a relatively poor season offensively (by his standards), but has picked it up a bit lately and has a cake matchup against the weak interior defense of the Suns. The price is low enough that Howard becomes a very solid tournament play in a matchup where he could easily reach 40 fantasy points.
