GPP STACKS

Arizona Diamondbacks (vs Cincinnati Reds)

The Diamondbacks are four and seven on the road while the Cincinnati Reds have a record of seven and two at home. The Cincinnati Reds are favored by -145 with a 7.5 0/U. Cincinnati’s Luis Castillo has a 7.04 ERA with a one and one record. Zach Gallen of the Arizona Diamondbacks has pitched much better with a 2.25 ERA (over just one start). Despite Gallen’s recent success, I do think that the Cincinnati Reds are capable of giving him a run for his money. Gallen currently has a 2.25 ERA over one game start but he only pitched four innings allowing three hits, one earned run, and one home run. He struck out eight batters. Arizona’s starter has played well so far this season but Cincinnati’s Luis Castillo has not. Castillo is allowing a .308 batting average to opposing righties and a.297 batting average to two opposing lefties. All three home runs allowed this season were two opposing left-handed batters. If we are going to invest in the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight, make sure to load up on left-handed power hitters. These batters include David Peralta, Josh Rojas, and Pavin Smith. Smith comes in as my top GPP play of the night as he is averaging 5.4 fantasy points per game and will be leading off tonight at a salary of $2,900 on Draftkings.

Other Cash Stacks: Atlanta Braves

GPP STACKS

Cleveland Indians (vs. Chicago White Sox)

The Chicago White Sox have inconsistent BVP stats against Zack Plesac, to say the least. Plesac just got beat up by these same White Sox in his last start. For the record, this is not for the main slate but important information for conventional gambling purposes. I figured it was worth writing up. Back to focus. Four Chicago batters actually display poor BvP stats against Plesac. These players include Luis Robert, Jose Abreu, and Yasmani Grandal. These three batters are all batting below .286 with multiple strikeouts against Plesac. These just happen to be Chicago’s 5,6,7 batters tonight. Cleveland’s starter lasted just .2 innings in his last start against the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox totaled six earned runs off seven hits with one home run over 26 total pitches. Pointsbet.com has this game favoring the White Sox by -117 with a 7.5 O/U. I included this game in my write-up for one main reason, the Cleveland Indians have massive advantages in this game and I do not expect Plesac to allow Chicago to do to him what they did to him last week. The Cleveland Indians are my lock of the night at +115 on Pointsbet.com.

Minnesota Twins (vs. Oakland A’s)

Stephen Piscotty, Mitch Moreland, Matt Chapman, & Jed Lowrie have a combined .400 BA with six combined home runs against Matt Shoemaker. Shoemaker has a 4.09 ERA on the season and is allowing opposing lefties to bat .280 with two home runs over 25 at-bats. The Twins are favored by -125 with a 6 O/U.
