FanDuel/DraftKings Bargains

Dennis Schroder (SG, $6.0k FanDuel … PG/SG, $5.1k DraftKings) – Schroder will be the most obvious play of the night with Russell Westbrook serving a one-game suspension. It’s a lousy matchup for OKC against the Heat, but I still can’t be shaken from Schroder as a high-upside play at a reasonable cost. Paul George’s price jumped on FanDuel ($11.2k) but didn’t budge on DraftKings ($9.7k), so he’s also a guy I’m targeting aggressively tonight. OKC tends to lean on their core guys so I’m not getting too adventurous with Raymond Felton or Deonte Burton tonight.

Maxi Kleber (PF, $5.2k Fanduel … PF/C, $4.8k DraftKings) – Kleber’s cost spiked on FanDuel and rose slightly on DK, so he’s not quite the value he’s been recently. I’m still sold on him as a modestly-priced big with easy 5-6x potential tonight. This Mavs vs. Pelicans game has easily the highest over/under of the evening (a projected 232.5 points) and it should be reasonably close. Frontcourts have been crushing the Mavs lately and Kleber has been solid with at least 28.7 FanDuel points in three of the past four games. The minutes have been there and I’m getting him in a high percentage of my rosters tonight.

Jeremy Lin (PG, $3.6k FanDuel … PG/SG, $4.1k DraftKings) – Lin draws a great matchup vs. his former team in New York. The real keys here are that his price remains rock-bottom and the Raptors are unlikely to have Kyle Lowry (ankle) tonight – coach Nick Nurse hinted Lowry could sit out this game and beat writer Ryan Wolstat wrote on Sunday, “Raptor fans can expect no Lowry or Kawhi [Leonard] vs. the mighty Knicks tomorrow barring something bizarre.” Lin has been atrocious even in a starting role, I’ll acknowledge that, but the matchup and sheer opportunity makes me consider him as a cheap guard tonight. I’m also intrigued by Fred VanVleet, but he’s returning from a lengthy absence, played 31 minutes on Sunday, and costs significantly more than Lin.

Josh Jackson (PF, $5.3k FanDuel … SF/PF, $4.2k DraftKings) – Notice the price disparity for Jackson tonight, with a $1.1k gap between FD and DK. I’d typically be on the fence but the matchup is great vs. Chicago, and the Suns have a bunch of banged up players. Kelly Oubre is questionable with a sprained thumb, Tyler Johnson (knee) is questionable, and both Richaun Holmes and T.J. Warren are still out. Jackson is coming off a strong game with 19 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal, and I’m considering both him and Mikal Bridges today.

Kevon Looney (C, $3.5k FanDuel … PF/C, $3.6k DraftKings) – Looney has some headwinds tonight with Andrew Bogut joining the Warriors’ rotation and a matchup vs. the Spurs. Still, without DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) in the lineup it’s impossible to overlook the opportunity for Looney. I’d avoid him if he weren’t this cheap, with a rock-bottom valuation on FD and nearly as low on DK.
