This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.
We’ll take a look at the 12-game main slate starting at 7:00 ET on Friday.
Eric Bledsoe - Milwaukee (at Cleveland)
Bledsoe has been stepping up for the Bucks lately, hitting 41+ fantasy points in three of his last five games. It’s encouraging to see him cross the 30-minute threshold twice in the past four as well. Bledsoe has always been an efficient fantasy scorer, and there’s certainly upside if more playing time comes his way with George Hill questionable. Regardless, I believe Bledsoe is a solid mid-range DFS lift against a Cleveland team that ranks dead last in defensive efficiency to point guards.
Evan Fournier - Orlando (vs. Toronto)
Nikola Vucevic is still out and Aaron Gordon is highly questionable. Even if Gordon plays, it’s legitimate to think he won’t take on a high-usage role right away. Either way, Fournier makes for a solid value play in DFS. He’s seeing a ton of minutes and more fantasy opportunities for Orlando, helping him tally a consistent 35 FPPG average over his past five. He should land somewhere around that mark in this competitive draw with the Raptors.
LeBron James - LA Lakers (vs. Washington)
LeBron James is significantly cheaper than Giannis Antetokounmpo with a better draw to boot. It’s not like Giannis finds himself in a daunting matchup at Cleveland (24th in d-eff), but LeBron will face a Washington club that ranks dead last in team defensive efficiency. This is the highest over/under of the night (234) and James should be able to do whatever he wants within that. Needless to say, he’s a cornerstone DFS option tonight.
Kristaps Porzingis - Dallas (at Phoenix)
I like Chris Boucher of the Raptors as a value play to make the rest of your lineup work. That will help you look towards someone like Porzingis, who is listed as probable at Phoenix. As we all know, “KP” has tremendous 50+ FP upside on any given night, and that especially holds true while facing a Suns team that ranks 29th in defensive efficiency to power forwards. Blowouts have curbed Porzingis’ fantasy production lately, but he should have an opportunity to feast in this high-scoring, competitive matchup with the Suns.
Mo Bamba - Orlando (vs. Toronto)
Bamba is another strong value choice to help secure more expensive players in your lineup. As mentioned earlier, Nikola Vucevic will continue to miss time for Orlando. Bamba has seen 20+ minutes in three straight games, and it seems like he’s getting more comfortable in that role. He’ll have an opportunity to keep the momentum against a Toronto squad that ranks 27th in defensive efficiency to centers. That makes him an obvious bargain lift through all formats.
