NBA DFS Plays: Sunday 11/17

This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.

We’ll take a look at the four-game main slate starting at 6:00 ET on Sunday.

POINT GUARD

Ky Bowman - Golden State (at New Orleans)

Bowman will have a chance to step up with D’Angelo Russell missing time moving forward. Bowman was reasonably competent in that role earlier this season, and he should see a full 33-35 minute workload for the shorthanded Warriors. It helps that he’s facing a Pelicans’ team that ranks fourth in pace and dead last in defensive efficiency to point guards. Needless to say, Bowman is an excellent DFS streamer through all formats for a dirt-cheap salary.

Also Consider: Jamal Murray, Trae Young

SHOOTING GUARD
Evan Fournier - Orlando (vs. Washington)

The shooting guard position doesn’t have a ton of options jumping off the screen today, so I’m willing to lock-in a guy like Evan Fournier. He has notched 36+ fantasy points in three of his last four games, and this matchup against Washington (28th in team d-eff) is certainly favorable. Fournier could see more stat-stuffing opportunities if Jonathan Isaac is out (questionable), but he remains on the DFS radar either way.

Also Consider: DeAndre’ Bembry, Gary Harris

SMALL FORWARD

Alec Burks - Golden State (at New Orleans)

As mentioned earlier, D’Angelo Russell will join Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson on the sidelines for at least a week or two. That opens the door for Alec Burks to be a key contributor for Golden State. Burks flexed some serious upside with Russell out earlier in the season, pointing to a 46 FP effort at Houston on November 6. That’s definitely the high-water mark for him, but Burks should satisfy is reasonably cheap salary in this up-tempo matchup against the Pelicans. I’m willing to roster him through all formats tonight.

Also Consider: LeBron James, Brandon Ingram (if playing), Glenn Robinson III

POWER FORWARD

Draymond Green - Golden State (at New Orleans)

Keeping with the theme of this article, the Warriors are desperate for playmakers while sitting on one of the best matchups in basketball. Because of that, I’m looking to roster all three of these featured recommendations in the same lineup. As for Draymond Green, he bounced-back nicely with 37 fantasy points in 34 minutes on Friday. He’ll absorb even more potential usage in a better matchup tonight, making sense as a preferred DFS lift through all formats.

Also Consider: Al-Farouq Aminu (if Isaac out), Jabari Parker

CENTER

Nikola Vucevic - Orlando (vs. Washington)

If Thomas Bryant is out for the Wizards, then Moritz Wagner becomes one of the better value plays on the board. However, if Bryant plays, I’ll be looking to make Nikola Vucevic fit into my lineups. “Vuce” has stepped up with 47+ fantasy points in three of his last five, and the Wizards rank 29th in defensive efficiency to centers. Similar to his teammate, Fournier, there would be more fantasy-related opportunities if Jonathan Isaac is out, but Vucevic is a strong DFS play either way.

Also Consider: Moritz Wagner (if Bryant out)
