Welcome back to another NBA daily fantasy season! This article will provide top pivots plays meant for GPP tournament success. Remember to check the confirmed lineups at Rotoworld Starting Lineups before lock. The most up to date information is crucial for daily fantasy success.

Point Guard

Ja Morant - Memphis Grizzlies (vs. Brooklyn Nets)

*Kyrie Irving is OUT - Tyler Johnson will see a usage uptick*

Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant are confirmed out tonight and Spencer Dinwiddie is out for the season (confirmed today). Ja Morant becomes a viable pivot play with a high percentage of people expected to roster Nets for value, instead, you should be rostering Ja Morant, who has averaged 55.1 DK points per game over his first two games of the season. Morant carries just as much upside as any PG on this slate. The Nets are - 4 point favorites with a high 230 O/U.

Other PG Option: Killian Hayes - Detroit Pistons (vs. Atlanta Hawks)

Make sure to check the Rotoworld NBA Optimizer before lock! Here you will find the top plays paired with accurate projections which will help you create your lineup!

Shooting Guard

Caris LeVert - Brooklyn Nets (vs. Memphis Grizzlies)

With Spencer Dinwiddie out for the season and Kyrie IrvingKevin Durant out for tonight’s game, the Nets lineup is where you will find valuable plays. Usage will shift primarily toward Joe Harris and Caris LeVert. Luckily Harris starts, and Lavert runs the second unit so we can feel good about playing both Nets scorers in the same lineup..How many Nets is too many? I think 3-4 is the perfect amount. Just make sure Joe Harris and Caris LeVert are in your lineup with Ja Morant on the backend. This is the game that you will want to target for daily fantasy goodness tonight!

Other SG Option: Grayson Allen - Memphis Grizzlies (vs. Brooklyn Nets)

Small Forward

Jerami Grant - Detroit Pistons (vs. Atlanta Hawks)

Grant is not a pivot play but I had to mention him. With Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose out for tonight’s game, many will invest in Grant. He’s been playing very well in his new role, on his new team, with his new massive contract so far this season. Considering the usage uptick without Rose and Griffin, Grant has a massive ceiling tonight. What’s the pivot? Fading him. Do I recommend that? No, I don’t. If you do decide to fade Grant, investing in John Collins and DeAndre Hunter and Killian Hayes would be a logical pivot. The Hawks are favored by - 10 points with a 223 O/U.

Other SF Option: DeAndre Hunter - Atlanta Hawks (vs. Detroit Pistons)

Power Forward

John Collins - Atlanta Hawks (vs. Detroit Pistons)

Jeff Green is solid value play with Durant out tonight so I included him below. Logical play who should be popular. Does he have an upside though? Not really. For GPP (guaranteed prize pool) pivoting purposes, give me John Collins tonight. It’s important to monitor the situation in Atlanta. Danilo Gallinari and Clint Capela are both potentially out tonight which would mean a usage bump for Collins and Trae Young. Atlanta, Detroit, and Brooklyn are my GPP focus’ tonight.

Other PF Option: Jeff Green - Brooklyn Nets (vs. Memphis Grizzlies)

Center

Mason Plumlee - Detroit Pistons (vs. Atlanta Hawks)

Plumlee will see more minutes tonight with Rose and Griffin sidelined. With his new team, he’s averaging 31.1 DK points per game over 32.3 minutes per game. Yes, it’s just a two-game sample size but if Mason Plumlee has ever had an opportunity to show up in a big way, it would be tonight. Can the Pistons keep this game close? That is the real question. It’s possible but if so, it will be on the backs of Hayes, Plumlee, and Grant.

Other C Option: Jonas Valancinuas - Memphis Grizzlies (vs. Brooklyn Nets)

Bargain Bin

PG Ja Morant - Memphis Grizzlies *Top Play*

SG Delon Wright - Detroit Pistons

SF Sekou Doumbouya - Detroit Pistons

PF Josh Jackson - Detroit Pistons

C Jahlil Okafor - Detroit Pistons
