NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are four games scheduled for Friday, but I’ll be focusing on the three games this evening.

Taylor Hall (NJD) – W - $7,600 FanDuel, $6,500 DraftKings, $27 Yahoo

Hall will go into Friday’s game on a seven-game point streak. He’s scored a goal and nine points over that span. He’ll also be up against his old team, the Edmonton Oilers, which can’t hurt.

J.T. Miller (VAN) – W - $6,100 FanDuel, $6,100 DraftKings, $19 Yahoo

Miller has seven goals and 17 points in 16 games in 2019-20. He’s been particularly good lately, recording at least a point in seven of his last eight games.

Jack Hughes (NJD) – C - $4,800 FanDuel, $4,200 DraftKings, $17 Yahoo

Hughes got off to a pretty slow start, but he seems to have found his groove in the NHL.  He’s scored four goals and nine points over his last eight games.  His cost is likely to climb up in the weeks to come.

Bargain Bin: Leon Draisaitl (EDM) - $8,800 FanDuel/$7,800 DraftKings/$34 Yahoo, Patrice Bergeron (BOS) - $7,800 FanDuel/$7,800 DraftKings/$33 Yahoo, Elias Pettersson (VAN) - $7,300 FanDuel/$6,900 DraftKings/$27 Yahoo, Kyle Connor (WPG) - $6,600 FanDuel/$6,000 DraftKings/$19 Yahoo, Andreas Athanasiou (DET) - $4,500 FanDuel/$4,300 DraftKings/$13 Yahoo

Josh Morrissey (WPG) – D - $4,800 FanDuel, $5,000 DraftKings, $17 Yahoo

Morrissey has only been held off the scoresheet once in his last five games. He has a goal and 10 points in 14 games, which is a great offensive output given his cost.

Quinn Hughes (VAN) – D - $4,400 FanDuel, $4,400 DraftKings, $17 Yahoo

Hughes has been one of this season’s top rookies so far with two goals and 11 points in 15 games. That’s made him a pretty good option most nights given his low price point.

Bargain Bin: Torey Krug (BOS) - $5,600 FanDuel/$5,800 DraftKings/$22 Yahoo, Neal Pionk (WPG) - $4,400 FanDuel/$4,100 DraftKings/$16 Yahoo, Sami Vatanen (NJD) - $4,300 FanDuel/$4,600 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo

Tuukka Rask (BOS) – G - $9,100 FanDuel, $8,300 DraftKings, $42 Yahoo

Obviously Rask isn’t cheap, but he’s priced that way for a reason. He has a 7-1-1 record, 1.88 GAA, and .936 save percentage in nine games this season. He’ll be up against the Detroit Red Wings tonight, which rank last in the league with a 4-12-1 record.

Bargain Bin: Thatcher Demko (VAN) - $7,900 FanDuel/$7,700 DraftKings/$30 Yahoo, Connor Hellebuyck (WPG) - $7,800 FanDuel/$7,900 DraftKings/$34 Yahoo
