Friday night has four games on tap.
Auston Matthews (TOR) – C - $8,900 FanDuel, $8,700 DraftKings, $35 Yahoo
Matthews is typically a good bet, but he’s particularly noteworthy right now because he’s on a five-game point streak. He has five goals and seven points in that five contest span. That’s propelled him to 39 goals and 64 points in 54 contests. Only Alex Ovechkin is ahead of him in the goal scorer race with his 40 markers.
Mika Zibanejad (NYR) – C - $8,100 FanDuel, $8,200 DraftKings, $31 Yahoo
Zibanejad has only been held off the scoresheet once in his last five games. He’s scored three goals and eight points during that time. That’s pushed him up to 21 markers and 45 points in 39 contests.
William Nylander (TOR) – W - $7,000 FanDuel, $6,400 DraftKings, $24 Yahoo
Nylander registered an assist on Wednesday to extend his point streak to nine games. The 2018-19 campaign was obviously a rough one for him with him being a contract holdout initially and then struggling once he finally signed. However, he’s bounced back this season with 25 goals and 49 points in 54 contests.
Chris Kreider (NYR) – W - $6,400 FanDuel, $6,100 DraftKings, $19 Yahoo
Kreider is at the top of his game right now with seven goals and 12 points in his last 11 contests. It’s an interesting time for Kreider because as a pending UFA on a seller-status team, his days with the Rangers might be coming to a close. For now though, he’s arguably their hottest weapon.
Bargain Bin: Rickard Rakell (ANA) - $6,300 FanDuel/$5,300 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo, Mats Zuccarello (MIN) - $6,100 FanDuel/$4,500 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo, Oliver Bjorkstrand (CBJ) - $6,000 FanDuel/$7,000 DraftKings/$19 Yahoo, Joe Pavelski (DAL) - $5,200 FanDuel/$4,200 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo, Pavel Buchnevich (NYR) - $4,800 FanDuel/$4,400 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo.
John Klingberg (MIN) – D - $5,600 FanDuel, $4,600 DraftKings, $17 Yahoo
Klingberg has been somewhat hot-and-cold this season, but he’s been good lately with a point in three of his last four games. He has three goals and 22 points in 42 contests.
Bargain Bin: Tyson Barrie (TOR) - $5,500 FanDuel/$6,300 DraftKings/$21 Yahoo, Seth Jones (CBJ) - $5,300 FanDuel/$6,100 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo, Tony DeAngelo (NYR) - $5,200 FanDuel/$5,500 DraftKings/$20 Yahoo.
Elvis Merzlikins (CBJ) – G - $8,800 FanDuel, $8,300 DraftKings, $41 Yahoo
Merzlikins has been unbelievable lately, posting four shutouts over his last seven starts. Despite his rough start to the campaign, he has an 11-6-4 record, 2.30 GAA, and .929 save percentage in 23 contests. Columbus will be up against the lowly Detroit Red Wings tonight.
Bargain Bin: Jack Campbell (TOR) - $7,600 FanDuel/$8,200 DraftKings/$28 Yahoo.
