DRAFT is back for another season of quick and exciting daily fantasy action. Their DFS platform offers poolies with a chance to participate in a format that most of us have grown very accustomed to over the years. You can compete in a live snake draft in which the participants take a player with each pick. Unlike other DFS games, this gives you the opportunity to use your knowledge to craft a team that no one else will have because the players you select cannot be chosen by your competition.
The draft is quick as you are allotted just 30 seconds per pick and you take five players. Your team is comprised of three forwards, a defenseman and a goalie.
Your strategy can be dictated by the positions being selected ahead of you. For instance, if you are going last and everyone else has a goaltender then you can wait until your last pick to make that selection. Of course, selecting players going up against weaker competition or players who are riding hot streaks are always popular strategies as well.
Remember, there are new pools available to play in but the players in my rankings will fall off the table as soon as the puck drops in their respective game.
Familiarize yourself with the rues and enjoy! It’s a great game! Wednesday’s six-game slate, features six-person, four-person and plenty of three-person drafts. There are also plenty of head-to-heads to participate in.
Editor's Note: If you love Fantasy Football you have to be playing on DRAFT. It's daily fantasy football snake drafts instead of salary caps. Colorado has been struggling as a team, but MacKinnon and Rantanen have remained productive, which will make highly sought-after players for Wednesday night. McDavid could be taken with the top pick, as he has multi-point performances in each of the last four games. He is projected to play alongside Draisaitl against Arizona. Gaudreau, who can be stacked with Sean Monahan and/or Lindholm has been red hot as well and the Flames will face a Detroit team that has been sliding down the standings despite an impressive 14-game point streak from Larkin. The top guns of Pittsburgh should also be popular picks.
Sharks defenders Burns and Karlsson have been productive, making them both attractive options for Wednesday night’s slate. Karlsson could be taken with the top pick, as he has picked up at least one point in each of his last 10 outings.
Rittich, Murray, Bishop and Markstrom have favorable matchups and they have been solid of late. Talbot has played well in the past versus Arizona, which could put him the cage on Wednesday night. Grubauer could be an option if you prefer the Avalanche over the Sharks. He has had success versus San Jose in the past, but as previously mentioned Colorado has just two wins in their last 10 matches.

Now, let’s also look at some players to consider for FanDuel and DraftKings.
Keep in mind that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL).
Alex Galchenyuk (ARI) - C - $5,400 (FanDuel), W - $3,800 (DraftKings)
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (EDM) - C - $5,300 (FanDuel), $5,900 (DraftKings)
Zach Aston-Reese (PIT) - W - $3,300 (FanDuel), $3,100 (DraftKings)
Oliver Ekman-Larsson (ARI) - D - $4,800 (FanDuel), $4,400 (DraftKings)
Mackenzie Blackwood (NJD) - G - $7,400 (FanDuel), $7,100 (DraftKings)
Galchenyuk and his teammate Ekman-Larsson could provide plenty of bang for the buck Wednesday night. They have both been hot lately, as Galchenyuk is riding a five-game point streak and OEL has three goals and four helpers in the last 11 games, including three points in his past two outings. Aston-Reese has been skating alongside Sidney Crosby and he has picked up two points (one goal, one assist) in the last two games. There are goalies with better matchups, but Blackwood offers plenty of upside if his hot streak continues. He has posted back-to-back shutouts and he has yielded two goals on 104 shots during his three-game win spree.
