NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL). Yahoo has a $200 cap for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are nine games in the NHL on Monday.

Elias Pettersson (Vancouver) - C - $7,400 (FanDuel), $7,200 (DraftKings), $28 (Yahoo)

Pettersson has four goals and eight points in his last six games and is the engine of the Canucks offense. He has 10 goals and 29 points in 24 games.

Evgeni Malkin (Pittsburgh) – C - $8,600 (FanDuel), $7,500 (DraftKings), $28 (Yahoo)

The Penguins have Malkin back and he is their number one offensive star with Sidney Crosby on the sidelines. Malkin has three goals and 13 points in his last nine games and has been held off the scoresheet only once in the nine games. The Penguins are playing at home against Calgary who have struggled of late.

Evander Kane (San Jose) - W - $7,500 (FanDuel), $7,200(DraftKings), $25 (Yahoo)

Kane has 12 goals and 20 points in 21 games and has seven power play goals as well. He has yet to get into a fight but still has 24 penalty minutes this season. Kane always gets a lot of shots on goal and is usually reliable in DFS.

Travis Konecny (Philadelphia) - W - $6,500 (FanDuel), $5,400 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)

Konecny has 23 points in 22 games and had three helpers Saturday as he is playing alongside Claude Giroux and rookie Morgan Frost.  Konecny also sees first power play time for the Flyers. He is a good play here.

David Perron (St, Louis) - W - $6,600 (FanDuel), $5,300 (DraftKings), $17 (Yahoo)

Quietly, Perron has 10 goals and 22 points for the Blues this season, including three goals and six points in his last seven games. He is on a three-game points streak and is on the first power play along with Jaden Schwartz, Brayden Schenn, Ryan O’Reilly and Alex Pietrangelo. He is a nice bargain in DraftKings.

Bargain Bin:  Matthew Tkachuk (Calgary) - W - $6,100 (FanDuel)/$6,700 (DraftKings)/ $ 23 (Yahoo) ,  Kaapo Kakko (New York Rangers) - W - $5,400 (FanDuel)/$4,400 (DraftKings)/ $13 (Yahoo) ,  Oliver Bjorkstrand (Columbus) - W - $5,200 (FanDuel)/$4,700 (DraftKings)/ $17 (Yahoo) Morgan Frost (Philadelphia) – C - $4,000 (FanDuel)/$5,200 (DraftKings) /$ 17 (Yahoo)

Victor Hedman (Tampa Bay) - $6,400 (FanDuel), $7,100 (DraftKings), $24 (Yahoo)

Hedman has quietly averaged over a point-a-game this season with 20 points in only 18 games. The Swedish stud has a seven-game points streak on the line as he has two goals and 11 points to re-establish himself as a top-three defenseman in the NHL.

Brent Burns (San Jose) - $7,100 (FanDuel), $6,900 (DraftKings), $26 (Yahoo)

You can never go wrong taking Burns even with the veteran at the age of 34. Burns has five goals and 21 points and is capable of breaking loose at any time. He is a minus-14 but has nine points on the power play.

Miro Heiskanen (Dallas) - $5,500 (FanDuel), $5,300 (DraftKings), $19 (Yahoo)

Heiskanen saw his five-game points streak end on Saturday but he had two goals and eight points during the streak. The 20-year-old, who was taken third overall in 2017, is a stud blueliner and has six goals and 17 points in 23 games with a plus-13 rating.

Ivan Provorov (Philadelphia) - $5,200 (FanDuel), $5,000 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)

Provorov has retaken the quarterbacking duties on the first power play from Shayne Gostisbehere and is having a bounce-back season with five goals and 14 points after having a horrific (for him) season last year with only seven goals and 26 points. He has four power play goals thus far as well as five assists.

Bargain Bin:

Ryan Suter (Minnesota) - $4,800 (FanDuel)/$3,800 (DraftKings)/ $16 (Yahoo) Tony DeAngelo (New York Rangers) - $4,600 (FanDuel), $4,800 (DraftKings)/ $17 (Yahoo) Rasmus Andersson (Calgary) - $3,600 (FanDuel), $3,400 (DraftKings)/ $13 Yahoo

Andrei Vasilevskiy (Tampa Bay) - $8,700 (FanDuel), $8,500 (DraftKings), $34 (Yahoo)

The Lightning take on the Sabres who played Sunday afternoon against Florida so the Sabres should be tired to some extent.  Vasilevskiy has not been the top goalie in the NHL that he was last season but has allowed only 12 goals in his last five games, on 142 shots.

Bargain Bin:  Ben Bishop (Dallas) $9,000 (FanDuel)/$8,200 (DraftKings)/ $34 (Yahoo), Thomas Greiss (New York Islanders), $7,800 (FanDuel)/$7,700 (DraftKings)/ $37 (Yahoo), Jordan Binnington (St. Louis) - $8,600 (FanDuel)/$7,600 (DraftKings) /$34 (Yahoo)
