NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL). Yahoo has a $200 cap for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are five games in the NHL on Monday.

Brayden Point (Tampa Bay) - C - $7,400 (FanDuel), $6.700 (Draft Kings), $29 (Yahoo)

Point still flies under the radar in Tampa Bay as there are so many great players there but he is on a 10-game points streak in which he has three goals and 14 points during the streak. He has 56 points in 56 contests thus far.

Steven Stamkos (Tampa Bay) - W - $8,400 (FanDuel), $7,400 (DraftKings), $29 (Yahoo)

Stamkos returned to the Tampa Bay lineup Saturday after missing a week with a lower-body injury and while he did not score for the first time in five games, he did have a pair of assists. He has at least a point in each of his last 11 games and has nine goals and 17 points in the 11 contests. Overall, Stamkos has 26 goals and 61 points in 53 games for the high-flying Lightning.

Mark Stone (Vegas) - W - $7,100 (FanDuel), $6,300 (DraftKings), $23 (Yahoo)

Stone was held off the scoresheet last game but had four assists in a win over St. Louis the previous game. Stone has 20 goals and 57 points in 60 games and is on pace for a career best in assists and points as he had 73 points last season and 42 assists with Ottawa the year before.

Bargain Bin:  Lars Eller (Washington) - C - $4,900 (FanDuel), $4,500 (DraftKings), $15 (Yahoo), Jakub Vrana (Washington) – W - $5,400 (FanDuel) $5,200 (DraftKings), $21 (Yahoo), Frank Vatrano (Florida) – W- $3,600 (FanDuel) $4,400 (DraftKings), $16 (Yahoo)

Brent Burns (San Jose) - $6,600 (FanDuel), $7,200 (DraftKings), $22 (Yahoo)

Burns had been sharing the power play point with Erik Karlsson all season but with the Swede out of action for the remainder of the season with a broken thumb, it’s Burns’ team again. He has only 39 points in 58 games after seasons of 83, 67, 76 and 75 in his last four campaigns, but Burns is on a five-game points streak with two goals and six points in that span.

Jakob Chychrun (Arizona) - $3,800 (FanDuel), $5,100 (DraftKings), $17 (Yahoo)

Chychrun has been hot of late with points in six of his last seven contests including two goals and five assists. This is the first season he has been healthy and has played in every Arizona game, a stark contrast to the last two seasons when he missed 29 and 32 games respectively. Chychrun has 12 goals and 26 points and is becoming the go-to-guy offensively on the blueline for Arizona.

Bargain Bin:

Shea Theodore (Vegas) - $5,500 (FanDuel), $5,600 (DraftKings), $20 (Yahoo)

Mikhail Sergachev (Tampa Bay) - $4,400 (FanDuel), $4,400 (DraftKings), $17 (Yahoo)

Sergei Bobrovsky (Florida) - $7,600 (FanDuel), $7,300 (DraftKings), $28 (Yahoo)

Maybe this is the night Bobrovsky comes through. Bobrovsky is 0-4-1 in his last five contests but the good news is that they take on the injury-riddled San Jose Sharks Monday. Bobrovsky is 20-17-5 but his peripherals are bad as he has a 3.32 GAA and a .896 save percentage. Hopefully, tonight is the night that Bobrovsky turns his season around.

Bargain Bin:  Braden Holtby (Washington) - $8,100 (FanDuel), $7,500 (DraftKings), $21 (Yahoo)
