NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 2W, 2D, 2UTIL 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

Max Pacioretty (Vegas) - W - $8,000 (FanDuel), $8,300 (DraftKings), $32 (Yahoo)
Pacioretty has supplied four goals and four assists during a four-game point streak going into Monday night’s action. That includes two goals, with one on the power play, and two helpers in two previous matches versus Minnesota. Pacioretty has amassed 12 goals and 21 points in 21 contests this campaign.
Anze Kopitar (Los Angeles) - C - $7,500 (FanDuel), $6,200 (DraftKings), $25 (Yahoo)
Kopitar has registered two goals and five helpers over a four-game point streak entering Monday night’s slate. He has accounted for one goal and four assists on the man advantage during that span. The Kings rank eighth overall in power-play percentage and sixth in power-play goals this season. Kopitar has six goals and 28 points in 23 matches this year, including 16 power-play points.
Brayden Schenn (St. Louis) - C - $6,400 (FanDuel), $6,000 (DraftKings), W - $19 (Yahoo)
Schenn has compiled two goals and four assists over a five-game point spree going into Monday’s contest against San Jose. He has scored a goal in each of his last five meetings versus the Sharks. while adding one assist and 14 shots on target. Schenn has generated 11 markers and 22 points through 25 contests.
Kailer Yamamoto (Edmonton) - W - $4,700 (FanDuel), $3,900 (DraftKings), $14 (Yahoo)
Yamamoto would normally be reserved for the bargain portion, but he’s worth highlighting because he could play alongside Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. The combination was put together in Saturday’s win over Calgary and it remained intact during Sunday’s practice. Yamamoto had one goal and one assist following the change. He has great stack potential with either one of Edmonton’s star forwards.

Girard has enjoyed a productive season with four goals and 17 points in 20 games. He has stepped up of late due to injuries on the back end and he has been held off the scoresheet in just one of the last five games. Girard has two goals, four assists, six shots during that stretch. He also checks in with solid cap hits across the board.
Bargain Bin: Torey Krug (STL) - $5,300 (FanDuel), $5,600 (DraftKings), $19 (Yahoo), Darnell Nurse (EDM) - $5,100 (FanDuel), $22 (Yahoo), Matt Dumba (MIN) - $4,800 (FanDuel), $4,900 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo), Jakob Chychrun (ARI) - $4,500 (FanDuel), $17 (Yahoo)
Carey Price (Montreal) - $7,600 (FanDuel), $7,900 (DraftKings), $28 (Yahoo)
Price has a 2-0-1 record against Vancouver this season and the British Columbia native has secured a mark of 15-2-4 versus the Canucks during his career. He has a 2.31 goals-against average, a .930 save percentage and three shutouts over that time. Price’s peripheral numbers against the Canucks are not nearly as impressive this season despite the winning record, but he has been better in that regard recently. He has won his last two starts, while stopping 54 of 56 shots.
