DRAFT is back for another season of quick and exciting daily fantasy action. Their DFS platform offers poolies with a chance to participate in a format that most of us have grown very accustomed to over the years. You can compete in a live snake draft in which the participants take a player with each pick. Unlike other DFS games, this gives you the opportunity to use your knowledge to craft a team that no one else will have because the players you select cannot be chosen by your competition.
The draft is quick as you are allotted just 30 seconds per pick and you take five players. Your team is comprised of three forwards, a defenseman and a goalie.
Your strategy can be dictated by the positions being selected ahead of you. For instance, if you are going last and everyone else has a goaltender then you can wait until your last pick to make that selection. Of course, selecting players going up against weaker competition or players who are riding hot streaks are always popular strategies as well.
Remember, there are new pools available to play in but the players in my rankings will fall off the table as soon as the puck drops in their respective game.
Familiarize yourself with the rues and enjoy! It’s a great game! Tuesday’s nine-game slate features eight-person, six-person and plenty of three-person drafts. There are also head-to-heads and Dream Team formats to participate in.

Not a lot of options tonight, but there are some really hot forwards out there. Wheeler and Pastrnak are topping the list out of respect for their recent play. Wheeler is on an 11-game point streak with 20 points over that span while Pastrnak has five goals and eight points in his last three games.
Orlov hasn't been much of an offensive force this season, but he's gotten four points over his last two games, so I figure he's worth mentioning right now. He has recorded between 29-33 points in each of his previous three campaigns, so it's not like he's historically been irrelevant offensively.
Gibson has struggled recently but the options tonight are...well, terrible. There's not a goaltender projected to start tonight that I'm a fan of when their matchup is factored in. Crawford has been pretty bad this season, but he is coming off a 28-save shutout, so perhaps he's turned a corner.
Don’t forget to check out the probable starting goaltenders from Rotoworld here.
Now, let’s also look at some players to consider for FanDuel and DraftKings. Keep in mind that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL).
Ryan O'Reilly (STL) – C - $6,700 FanDuel, $6,500 DraftKings
Lars Eller (WAS) – C - $4,200 FanDuel, $4,100 DraftKings
Alexander Radulov (DAL) – W - $6,000 FanDuel, $6,900 DraftKings
Alex Tuch (VGK) – W - $4,900 FanDuel, $6,200 DraftKings
Brent Seabrook (CHI) – D - $4,600 FanDuel, $5,200 DraftKings
John Gibson (ANA) – G - $8,300 FanDuel, $7,600 DraftKings
Eller’s not a bad gamble tonight given that he’ll center the top line. He’s filling in for Evgeny Kuznetsov, who is out with an upper-body injury.
