NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL). Yahoo has a $200 cap for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are nine games scheduled for Friday night.

Nathan MacKinnon (COL) – C - $9,000 FanDuel, $7,700 DraftKings, $35 Yahoo

MacKinnon is expensive, but there’s good reason for that. He’s only been held off the scoresheet twice in his last 19 games. He’s scored 11 goals and 30 points over that span. That brings him up to 22 goals and 56 points in 38 contests in 2019-20.

Artemi Panarin (NYR) – W - $8,300 FanDuel, $6,900 DraftKings, $28 Yahoo

Panarin has been a very steady player this season. He has recorded at least a point in nine of his last 10 games and that’s not out of the ordinary for him. He’s up to 21 goals and 48 points in 37 games.

Nikita Kucherov (TBL) – W - $8,300 FanDuel, $7,600 DraftKings, $33 Yahoo

Kucherov is on a six-game point streak and is coming off a three-point game. He got off to a somewhat mixed start this season, at least by his high standards, but at this point he’s scored 13 goals and 40 points in 34 contests.

Mika Zibanejad (NYR) – C - $7,900 FanDuel, $6,500 DraftKings, $26 Yahoo

If you take Panarin and want to lean on the Rangers more, then Zibanejad is certainly another good option. Zibanejad has seven goals and 12 points in his last seven games. That brings him up to 14 goals and 29 points in just 24 games this season.

Brock Boeser (VAN) – W - $7,500 FanDuel, $6,200 DraftKings, $24 Yahoo

Boeser has recorded at least a point in three straight games and six of his last seven contests. He has contributed 13 goals and 36 points in 38 games this season. At this rate, he’s going to easily surpass his career-high of 56 points, but this breakout isn’t too surprising given his potential.

Mark Stone (VGK) – W - $6,900 FanDuel, $6,000 DraftKings, $23 Yahoo

Stone has only been held off the scoresheet once in his last nine games. That gives him two goals and 13 points in nine contests over that span. With 13 goals and 37 points in 41 games, he’s putting up pretty good numbers for his price point.

Bargain Bin: William Karlsson (VGK) - $6,800 FanDuel/$5,600 DraftKings/$23 Yahoo, Sean Couturier (PHI) - $6,800 FanDuel/$6,400 DraftKings/$23 Yahoo, Alexander Radulov (DAL) - $6,700 FanDuel/$5,800 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo, Teuvo Teravainen (CAR) - $6,700 FanDuel/$5,600 DraftKings/$23 Yahoo, Viktor Arvidsson (NAS) - $6,400 FanDuel/$5,100 DraftKings/$21 Yahoo, Clayton Keller (ARI) - $6,000 FanDuel/$4,800 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo, Jakub Voracek (PHI) - $5,800 FanDuel/$4,600 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo, Chris Kreider (NYR) - $5,800 FanDuel/$4,900 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo, Kevin Hayes (PHI) - $5,800 FanDuel/$4,900 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo

Roman Josi (NAS) – D - $6,900 FanDuel, $6,500 DraftKings, $28 Yahoo

Josi saw his goal scoring streak end at five games on Friday, but he still kept the point streak alive with an assist. He’s up to 14 goals and 36 points in 37 contests in 2019-20.

Shea Weber (MON) – D - $6,800 FanDuel, $6,400 DraftKings, $25 Yahoo

Weber has recorded at least a point in six of his last seven games. He’s scored two goals and seven points over that span. Through the first 37 games of the campaign, he has 11 goals and 30 points.

Bargain Bin: Erik Karlsson (SJS) - $6,500 FanDuel/$5,300 DraftKings/$21 Yahoo, Cale Makar (COL) - $5,800 FanDuel/$4,500 DraftKings/$24 Yahoo, John Klingberg (DAL) - $5,600 FanDuel/$4,600 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo, Ryan Ellis (NAS) - $5,400 FanDuel/$5,100 DraftKings/$20 Yahoo

Carter Hart (PHI) - $8,000 FanDuel, $7,400 DraftKings, $38 Yahoo

Hart is red hot right now. He’s allowed just a single goal in each of his last three starts. With that run, he has a 13-7-3 record, 2.27 GAA, and .916 save percentage in 25 games. It’s worth noting that he’ll be facing the Sharks, which certainly can be a dangerous team, but they haven’t been that good as of late.

Bargain Bin: Philipp Grubauer (COL) - $7,600 FanDuel/$7,500 DraftKings/$31 Yahoo, Jacob Markstrom (VAN) - $7,600 FanDuel/$8,100 DraftKings/$32 Yahoo
