NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are seven evening games on Saturday.

Artemi Panarin (NYR) – W - $8,600 FanDuel, $7,100 DraftKings, $30 Yahoo

Panarin has been a common pick because of how reliable he’s been this season, but he’s also red hot right now. He’s scored an incredible two goals and 10 points over his last four contests. That brings him up to 22 goals and 55 points in 40 games this season.

Auston Matthews (TOR) – C - $8,500 FanDuel, $8,000 DraftKings, $34 Yahoo

Matthews is on a three-game point streak and has only been held off the scoresheet once in his last eight contests. He has eight goals and 15 points over that span. That gives him 27 goals and 49 points in 42 contests in 2019-20.

Brock Boeser (VAN) – W - $7,300 FanDuel, $6,500 DraftKings, $23 Yahoo

Boeser is going into tonight’s action having recorded at least a point in six straight games and nine of his last 10 contests. He hasn’t even had a point drought lasting more than two contests this season, which speaks to his reliability. He’s scored 13 goals and 39 points in 41 contests in 2019-20.

Gabriel Landeskog (COL) – W - $7,000 FanDuel, $6,600 DraftKings, $24 Yahoo

Landeskog had 34 goals and 75 points in 73 games last season, but the 2019-20 campaign hasn’t been nearly as productive, in part due to injury. At his reduced price point though, he’s worth taking a chance on. It helps that he’s started to chip in more lately with three goals and four points in his last five contests. He’ll also be facing the lowly New Jersey Devils.

Kyle Palmieri (NJD) – W - $6,500 FanDuel, $5,300 DraftKings, $18 Yahoo

With 15 goals and 28 points in 40 games, Palmieri hasn’t had an amazing season. That said, he has been particularly effective lately. Palmieri has only been held off the scoresheet once in his last five games and twice in his last nine contests. He has four goals and nine points over that span.

Bargain Bin: Jakub Voracek (PHI) - $6,400 FanDuel/$4,400 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo, Mathew Barzal (NYI) - $6,400 FanDuel/$6,800 DraftKings/$25 Yahoo, Max Domi (MON) - $6,300 FanDuel/$4,800 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo, William Nylander (TOR) - $6,300 FanDuel/$5,600 DraftKings/$21 Yahoo, Bo Horvat (VAN) - $6,000 FanDuel/$5,800 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo, Bryan Rust (PIT) - $5,700 FanDuel/$6,900 DraftKings/$26 Yahoo.

Roman Josi (NAS) - $6,800 FanDuel, $6,400 DraftKings, $28 Yahoo

Josi is on an eight-game point streak going into Saturday’s contest. He’s been a huge contributor during that run with seven goals and 15 points. That brings him up to 14 goals and 41 points in 39 contests this season. For a defensemen, he’s just been incredible.

Bargin Bin: Thomas Chabot (OTT) - $5,600 FanDuel/$6,200 DraftKings/$19 Yahoo, Drew Doughty (LAK) - $5,500 FanDuel/$5,700 DraftKings, $17 Yahoo, Ivan Provorov (PHI) - $5,400 FanDuel/$5,000 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo.

Antti Raanta (ARI) - $8,000 FanDuel, $7,600 DraftKings, $30 Yahoo

Raanta initially struggled while filling in for the injured Darcy Kuemper, but he’s turned things around recently. Over Raanta’s last two starts, he’s allowed just three combined goals and has won both of those contests. For his relatively low price point, he’s worth the risk.

Bargin Bin: Pekka Rinne (NAS) - $7,700 FanDuel/$8,000 DraftKings/$29 Yahoo, Henrik Lundqvist (NYR) - $7,400 FanDuel/$7,300 DraftKings/$24 Yahoo.
