NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are 11 games on Saturday, but we’ll be focused on the 10 night games.

Forwards:

Steven Stamkos (TBL) – C – $8,600 FanDuel, $7,100 DraftKings, $28 Yahoo

Stamkos is red hot with two goals and seven points in his last three games. He’s also recorded at least a point in eight of his last nine games. At this point he’s scored 17 goals and 44 points in 40 contests this season.

Patrick Kane (CHI) – W - $8,300 FanDuel, $7,700 DraftKings, $33 Yahoo

Kane is heading into Saturday’s contest on a five-game point streak. He’s scored 24 goals and 56 points in 45 games in 2019-20. Chicago will be up against Anaheim tonight, which has been a middle-of-the-road defensively this season, but are struggling right now with five losses in their last six games.

Leon Draisaitl (EDM) – W - $8,200 FanDuel, $7,000 DraftKings, $31 Yahoo

Draisaitl has recorded at least a point in five straight games and seven of his last eight contests. He’s up to 25 goals and 69 points in 46 contests in 2019-20. That’s incredible production even given his price point.

Brad Marchand (BOS) – W - $7,900 FanDuel, $7,400 DraftKings, $31 Yahoo

Marchand has been incredibly consistent this season, never suffering a point drought that’s lasted more than two games. He’s presently on a three-game point streak and has recorded at least a point in seven of his last eight contests. That brings him up to 20 goals and 62 points in 45 games in 2019-20.

Max Pacioretty (VGK) – W - $7,600 FanDuel, $7,900 DraftKings, $27 Yahoo

Pacioretty has only been held off the scoresheet once in his last eight games. He has 20 goals and 45 points in 47 games in 2019-20. It’s been quite the turnaround from 2018-29 when he was limited to 40 points in 66 contests.

Evgeny Kuznetsov (WAS) – C - $7,500 FanDuel, $5,800 DraftKings, $25 Yahoo

Kuznetsov is on a seven-game point streak. He’s scored four goals and nine points over that span. That’s brought him up to 16 goals and 42 points in 42 games in 2019-20.

Bargain Bin: Johnny Gaudreau (CGY) - $7,300 FanDuel/$6,600 DraftKings/$22 Yahoo, Brayden Point (TBL) - $7,100 FanDuel/$6,500 DraftKings/$29 Yahoo, Sean Couturier (PHI) - $6,700 FanDuel/$5,400 DraftKings/$22 Yahoo, David Perron (STL) - $6,600 FanDuel/$6,400 DraftKings/$22 Yahoo, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (EDM) - $5,900 FanDuel/$4,900 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo, Travis Konecny (PHI) - $5,800 FanDuel/$5,400 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo.

Defensemen:

John Carlson (WAS) - $7,100 FanDuel, $7,200 DraftKings, $31 Yahoo

Carlson has been comfortably leading the defensemen scoring race for most of the season. He’s scored 13 goals and 54 points in 45 contests this season. Washington in general is a good bet tonight against New Jersey because goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood is injured so Louis Domingue is starting instead. Domingue has a 1-4-0 record, 3.99 GAA, and .867 save percentage in seven contests this season.

Erik Karlsson (SJS) - $6,400 FanDuel, $5,300 DraftKings, $21 Yahoo

Karlsson is on a four-game point streak. He’s up to five goals and 33 points in 45 contests in 2019-20. Karlsson has been one of the bright spots for the Sharks this season, enjoying a largely healthy campaign after being limited to 53 contests in 2019-20.

Bargain Bin: Torey Krug (BOS) - $5,600 FanDuel/$4,700 DraftKings/$20 Yahoo, Mark Giordano (CGY) - $5,500 FanDuel/$6,100 DraftKings/$21 Yahoo, Tony DeAngelo (NYR) - $5,100 FanDuel/$5,000 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo.

Goaltenders:

Andrei Vasilevskiy (TBL) - $9,200 FanDuel, $7,700 DraftKings, $34 Yahoo

He’s expensive, but lately Vasilevskiy has been more than worth it. He has allowed just four goals over his last four games and is on a seven-game winning streak. He has a 21-9-2 record, 2.66 GAA, and .913 save percentage in 32 contests.

Ben Bishop (DAL) - $9,000 FanDuel, $8,000 DraftKings, $36 Yahoo

The Stars are set to face San Jose on Saturday, which has been at best a mixed bag. The Sharks are in an even rougher state right now though because their biggest offensive threat, Logan Couture, is out with an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Bishop is coming off a 27-save shutout and is having a dominant season. He’s 15-9-3 with a 2.24 GAA and .928 save percentage in 29 games.

Bargain Bin: Tuukka Rask (BOS) - $8,800 FanDuel/$7,600 DraftKings/$32 Yahoo, Carey Price (MON) - $7,900 FanDuel/$7,600 DraftKings/$28 Yahoo, Elvis Merzlikins (CBJ) - $7,200 FanDuel/$6,900 DraftKings/$28 Yahoo.
