NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

Sunday has seven games scheduled including a 4:00 PM ET game.

Forwards:

Patrice Bergeron (Boston) – C - $7,200 FanDuel, $7,200 DraftKings, $32 Yahoo

The Bruins take on the New York Rangers and Bergeron is due to break out after a couple of pointless games. He still has eight points in 10 contests and had 79 points last season in 65 games playing with Pastrnak and Marchand. I love taking a whole line when playing DFS and this is a great spot.

David Pastrnak (Boston) – W - $8,800 FanDuel, $8,200 DraftKings, $30 Yahoo

While I’m not mentioning Marchand, I would also take him with Pastrnak the aforementioned Bergeron. Pastrnak has been fabulous this season with 11 goals and 18 points in 10 games with nine goals and 12 points coming in his last five games. He looks like a must in DFS.

Evander Kane (San Jose) – W - $7,000 FanDuel, $7,900 DraftKings, $22 Yahoo

Kane has had a couple of big games in his last five including two goals and an assist against Montreal and a hat trick with a helper versus Carolina. The Sharks are in Ottawa to finish up a road trip and have had a day off after a loss to Toronto. Kane is primed to play against the lowly Senators.

Bargain Bin: Alex DeBrincat (Chicago) - $6,200 FanDuel/$6,200 DraftKings/$25 Yahoo, Timo Meier (San Jose) - $5,700 FanDuel/$6,300 DraftKings/$19 Yahoo,Brady Tkachuk (Ottawa) - $5,200 FanDuel/$6,000 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo, Cody Glass (Vegas) - $4,400 FanDuel/$3,600 DraftKings/$12 Yahoo, Dylan Strome (Chicago) - $4,700 FanDuel/$4,400 DraftKings/$16 Yahoo

Defensemen:

Erik Gustafsson (Chicago) - $5,000 FanDuel, $7,100 DraftKings, $17 Yahoo

Gustafsson really came through for the Blackhawks last season as he took over quarterbacking the power play from Duncan Keith and had 60 points in 79 games. He has been off to a slow start this season with only four points in nine games but so have the Blackhawks and they have enough talent up front, especially on the pp to do some damage.

Devon Toews (New York Islanders) - $5,300 FanDuel, $6,200 DraftKings, $16 Yahoo

Toews has points in four of his last five games and has a couple of goals and seven points in 10 tilts this season. He is the Islanders top offensive threat on the blueline and is good value, especially in FanDuel and Yahoo.

Bargain Bin:  Tony DeAngelo (New York Rangers) - $4,500 FanDuel/$5,900 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo, Ivan Provorov (Philadelphia) - $4,500 FanDuel/$4,600 DraftKings/$16 Yahoo, Vince Dunn (St. Louis) - $4,000 FanDuel/$4,100 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo

Goaltenders:

 Marc-Andre Fleury (Vegas) - $9,100 FanDuel, $7,700 DraftKings, $38 Yahoo

The Golden Knights pulled Fleury in Friday’s game after it became obvious that the Avalanche were far superior that night. The extra rest could help against the low-scoring Ducks. Being at home helps as well and the Golden Knights poor performance on Friday could be attributed to a return home after an Eastern trip.

Bargain Bin: Jack Campbell (Los Angeles) - $7,300 FanDuel/$7,500 DraftKings/$28 Yahoo, Thomas Greiss (New York Islanders) - $7,700 FanDuel/$7,000 DraftKings/$32 Yahoo (if he starts)
