NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL). Yahoo has a $200 cap for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are four games in the NHL on Sunday.

Forwards

Pierre-Luc Dubois (Columbus) - C - $5,500 (FanDuel), $5,500 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)

Dubois is pointless in his last three games but is well-priced and with 15 goals and 34 pointsin 49 games, he allows you to use more expensive players. The third overall pick in 2016 is ready to break loose again.

Artemi Panarin (New York Rangers) – W - $8,300 (FanDuel), $7,400 (DraftKings), $32 (Yahoo)

Panarin is having a huge season, his best yet, in the NHL with 26 goals and 68 points in 46 games and has a plus-23 rating on an average Rangers squad. Panarin has been especially hot of late with four goals and 13 points in his five-game points streak. He is a must play in DFS.

Patrick Kane (Chicago) - W - $8,100 (FanDuel), $8,200 (DraftKings), $33 (Yahoo)

Kane is on a nine-game scoring streak after an assist against Toronto Saturday to give him 999 points in his NHL career. The 30-year-old has not slowed down this season and has 24 goals and 61 points in 49 games. They host Winnipeg Sunday.

Bargain Bin:  Lucas Wallmark (Carolina) - C - $3,800 (FanDuel), $2,500 (DraftKings), $15 (Yahoo), Dominik Kubalik (Chicago) – W - $5,000 (FanDuel) $4,700 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo), Kyle Connor (Winnipeg) – W- $6,700 (FanDuel) $6,400 (DraftKings), $23 (Yahoo)

Defensemen:

Adam Fox (New York Rangers) - $4,300 (FanDuel), $4,100 (DraftKings), $17 (Yahoo)

Fox has a goal and six assists in his last seven games and the rookie has six goals and 26 points in 46 contests to date. He has been quite good on the power play with a goal and 11 points and is a bargain in DFS at this stage of his career.

Brady Skjei (New York Rangers) - $3,900 (FanDuel), $4,000 (DraftKings), $16 (Yahoo),

Skjei has the same overall stats as Fox with six goals and 20 points in one less game. He doesn’t see power play time but has been a scorer in five-on-five situations as well as a couple of shorthanded assists.

Bargain Bin:

Zach Werenski (Columbus) - $6,600 (FanDuel), $6,200 (DraftKings), $19 (Yahoo)

Devon Toews (New York Islanders) - $4,100 (FanDuel), $3,200 (DraftKings), $13 (Yahoo)

Goaltenders:

Elvis Merzlikins (Columbus) - $7,600 (FanDuel), $7,500 (DraftKings), $27 (Yahoo)

Who would have thought that Elvis would be the hottest goaltender in the NHL at this time? Not too many people, but if it was Halloween, kids in Columbus would be in Merzlikins costumes and not Presley. Merzlikins has three shutouts in his last four games and has give up only two goals on 136 shots in the four wins. Play him until he loses.

Bargain Bin:  Thomas Greiss (New York Islanders) - $7,900 (FanDuel), $7,100 (DraftKings), $24 (Yahoo)
