There are six games in the NHL on Sunday.
Elias Pettersson (Vancouver) - C - $6,700 (FanDuel), $7,000 (Draft Kings), $33 (Yahoo)
Pettersson was held pointless and shotless by the Maple Leafs Saturday and the last time that happened, Pettersson responded with a two-point night. He has 25 goals and 35 assists this season. The Canucks take on the slumping Columbus Blue Jackets so look for a big performance by the Swedish star. If you need to look at another center, Kevin Hayes plays his first game back in Madison Square Garden since his trade from the Rangers last season.
Max Pacioretty (Vegas) - W - $7,900 (FanDuel), $8,300 (DraftKings), $30 (Yahoo)
Pacioretty is riding a six-game points streak with four goals and eight points for the hot Vegas Golden Knights who have won eight in a row. Pacioretty has 30 goals and 63 points with a plus-17 rating as he is closing in on his career-highs in both as he had 34 goals in 2015-16 and 67 points in 2014-15 as well as 2016-17.
Kevin Fiala (Minnesota) - W - $5,700 (FanDuel), $6,100 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)
There was a lot of complaining last season when the Wild acquired Fiala from Nashville for Mikael Granlund but the complaining stopped recently as Fiala has found his offensive game. Fiala has seven points in his last three games and has 10 goals and 19 points in his last 13 games in February. All together, Fiala has 19 goals and 47 points in 59 contests and is only one point away from tying his career high set in 2017-18.
Bargain Bin: Mikael Backlund (Calgary) - C - $5,800 (FanDuel), $11,100 (Draft Kings), $18 (Yahoo), Kevin Hayes (Philadelphia) - C - $5,700 (FanDuel), $11,700 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo), Tyler Toffoli (Vancouver) – W - $5,800 (FanDuel) $6,700 (DraftKings), $19 (Yahoo), Scott Laughton (Philadelphia) – W- $3,900 (FanDuel) $8,700 (DraftKings), $17 (Yahoo)
John Carlson (Washington) - $7,000 (FanDuel), $7,400 (DraftKings), $29 (Yahoo)
The top defenseman in the NHL, Carlson already has a career high in points with 72 and has equalled his career best in goals with 15. Carlson should be a shoo-in to win the Norris Trophy which is given to the best defenseman in the NHL and deservedly so.
Jared Spurgeon (Minnesota) - $5,100 (FanDuel), $5,900 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)
Spurgeon has four goals in his last five games, and that was helped greatly by his hat trick against the Oilers on February 21. The defenseman has 11 goals and 29 points this season and is a good play in FanDuel and Yahoo value-wise.
Matt Dumba (Minnesota) - $4,000 (FanDuel), $4,800 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)
Alec Martinez (Vegas) - $4,600 (FanDuel), $5,300 (Draft Kings), $17 (Yahoo)
Cory Schneider (New Jersey) - $7,100 (FanDuel), $7,200 (DraftKings), $20 (Yahoo)
Schneider is only 1-6-2 this season for New Jersey but since his return from the minors a week ago, he is 1-0-1, giving up only four goals on 58 shots. The Devils are the bottom-dwelling team in the Metropolitan, but their opponents, the Anaheim Ducks are even worse this season.
Bargain Bin: Louis Domingue (Vancouver) - $7,000 (FanDuel), $7,100 (DraftKings), $24 (Yahoo)
