NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

Forwards:

Leon Draisaitl (Edmonton) - W - $8,100 (FanDuel), C - $6,900 (DraftKings), W - $31 (Yahoo)

Draisaitl has generated three goals and three assists during a four-game point streak.  He has compiled nine goals and 19 points in the past 17 games, while being held off the scoresheet just three times during that stretch.  Additionally, Draisaitl has six goals and 13 points in 10 career matches against Montreal.

Patrice Bergeron (Boston) - C - $7,900 (FanDuel), $7,700 (DraftKings), $33 (Yahoo)

Bergeron has seven goals, including four on the power play, and two assists in the past eight games.  He did most of that goal scoring in the first three outings of that span, but getting another power-play marker could be in the cards for him on Thursday night against a road-weary Winnipeg squad.  The Jets’ penalty kill sits 31st in the league, while the Bruins rank third in the NHL on the man advantage.  Bergeron had two goals in two contests against the Jets last year.

Elias Pettersson (Vancouver) - C - $7,400 (FanDuel), $6,700 (DraftKings), $28 (Yahoo)

Pettersson has nine goals and 14 points in the past 15 games.  He has posted a multi-point performance in four of his last eight outings.  Vancouver is coming off an embarrassing loss to Tampa Bay on Tuesday, which could be bad news for the Florida Panthers.  Pettersson had three assists versus Florida back on Oct. 28 and he has four points (one goal, three assists) in two career meetings against the Panthers.

Brayden Point (Tampa Bay) - C - $7,200 (FanDuel), $7,000 (DraftKings), $28 (Yahoo)

Point has been red hot with four goals and five assists during a six-game point streak.  He has amassed eight markers and 18 points over the last 13 matches.  Point has also racked up 10 goals and 21 points in 21 contests on home ice this campaign.

David Perron (St. Louis) - W - $6,600 (FanDuel), $6,100 (DraftKings), $21 (Yahoo)

Perron has accounted for six goals and 14 points in the past 10 games.  That includes two goals and two helpers in his past two outings.  Perron also has three goals and four assists in his last five appearances versus Buffalo.

Ryan Strome (New York Rangers) - C - $6,100 (FanDuel), $4,900 (DraftKings), $19 (Yahoo)

Strome has produced six goals and 16 points in the last 16 games.  That includes five goals and nine points in six matches going into Thursday night’s action.  Strome has three multi-point performances in the last five contests.

Bargain Bin: Mike Hoffman (FLA) - W - $6,000 (FanDuel)/$5,200 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo), Tanner Pearson (VAN) - W - $5,400 (FanDuel)/$4,800 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo), Pierre-Luc Dubois (CBJ) - C - $5,400 (FanDuel)/$5,000 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo), Alex Killorn (TB) - W - $5,300 (FanDuel)/$5,000 (DraftKings)/$21 (Yahoo), Ilya Kovalchuk (MON) - W - $4,000 (FanDuel)/$4,000 (DraftKings)/$14 (Yahoo)

Defensemen:

Zach Werenski (Columbus) - D - $6,600 (FanDuel), $5,400 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)

Werenski has nine goals and 12 points in 11 games since returning from a shoulder injury.  He has four goals and one assist during a three-game point streak going into Thursday night’s action.  Werenski has 12 shots on goal over that span.

Torey Krug (Boston) - D - $5,800 (FanDuel), $5,300 (DraftKings), $21(Yahoo)

Krug has provided one goal and nine assists over the last 10 games.  He has been held off the scoresheet on just one occasion over the past eight matches.  Krug also has one goal and four helpers on the power play during that eight-game span.  He has plenty of bang for the buck upside on Thursday night.

Bargain Bin: Shea Theodore (VGK) - $5,100 (FanDuel)/$5,100 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo), Tony DeAngelo (NYR) - $4,600 (FanDuel)/$4,500 (DraftKings)/$17 (Yahoo)

Goaltenders:

Marc-Andre Fleury (Vegas) - G - $8,000 (FanDuel), $8,400 (DraftKings), $29 (Yahoo)

Fleury has surrendered four goals against in each of the last three games, which helps his price on FanDuel for Thursday’s slate.  However, he did win two of those matches and has victories in four of his past five starts.  Vegas will host a Los Angeles team that played the night before and Fleury already has a 36-save, 5-2 win over the Kings this season, which came back on Oct. 13.

Ben Bishop (Dallas) - G - $8,800 (FanDuel), $8,000 (DraftKings), $37 (Yahoo)

Bishop will likely get the second half of Dallas’ back-to-back situation, as Anton Khudobin played the night before versus Los Angeles.  Bishop has turned aside 72 of 76 shots in his last two outings, which were both wins.  He was between the pipes for a 2-1 win over Anaheim back on Oct. 24 when he stopped 29 shots.

Bargain Bin: David Rittich (CGY) - $7,500 (FanDuel)/$8,100 (DraftKings)/$30 (Yahoo), Elvis Merzlikins (CBJ) - $7,200 (FanDuel)/$7,400 (DraftKings)/$31 (Yahoo), Mike Smith (EDM) - $7,200 (FanDuel)/$7,500 (DraftKings)/$20 (Yahoo)
