NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

Forwards:

Patrick Kane (Chicago) - W - $8,500 (FanDuel), $7,800 (DraftKings), $33 (Yahoo)

Kane has amassed four goals and three assists during a three-game point spree.  The streak started on New Year’s Eve with a four-point performance in Calgary.  Kane and the Blackhawks will host the Flames on Tuesday night.  He has compiled 23 goals and 51 points in 41 career matches versus Calgary.

Evgeny Kuznetsov (Washington) - C - $7,800 (FanDuel), $5,800 (DraftKings), $24 (Yahoo)

Kuznetsov has four goals and three assists during a five-game point streak going into Tuesday night’s action against Ottawa.  He has five goals and 14 points in 15 career meetings versus the Senators, which includes four goals and seven assists in his past six appearances.

Brayden Point (Tampa Bay) - C - $7,200 (FanDuel), $5,900 (DraftKings), $27 (Yahoo)

Point has supplied three goals and two assists during a five-game point streak going into Tuesday night.  He has 15 shots on goal over that span as well as two power-play points.  Point has seven goals and 14 points in his last 12 outings.

Mark Stone (Vegas) - W - $7,000 (FanDuel), $6,100 (DraftKings), $24 (Yahoo)

Stone’s five-game point streak came to an end on Saturday, but he has been held off the scoresheet just two times in the past 13 contests.  He has registered five goals and 17 points during that stretch.  Stone has also compiled 10 goals and 17 points in 13 career matches against Pittsburgh, which includes three goals and three helpers in his last four outings.

Teuvo Teravainen (Carolina) - W - $6,500 (FanDuel), $6,000 (DraftKings), $23 (Yahoo)

Teravainen has accounted for 15 points in the past 13 games.  He has one goal despite 36 shots during that stretch.  Teravainen scored on Friday to end a 16-game goalless slump.  He stands a good chance to get back in the goal column on Tuesday.  Teravainen has scored six times in 17 career games versus Philadelphia.  That ties the Flyers with the Islanders for the most goals he has against a team in his career.  Teravainen has produced 18 points in 17 contests against Philadelphia.

Evgenii Dadonov (Florida) - W - $6,300 (FanDuel), $5,300 (DraftKings), $20 (Yahoo)

Dadonov has generated six goals and four assists in the last nine games.  He has four goals and one assist during a three-game point streak.  Arizona could be without their top-two netminders for Tuesday’s contest, which makes Florida’s top line an intriguing stack play.

Bargain Bin: Max Domi (MON) - C - $6,300 (FanDuel)/$5,200 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo), Tanner Pearson (VAN) - W - $5,600 (FanDuel)/$4,700 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo), Nick Schmaltz (ARI) - W - $5,000 (FanDuel)/$4,400 (DraftKings)/$17 (Yahoo),  Erik Haula (CAR) - C - $5,000 (FanDuel)/$3,500 (DraftKings)/$17 (Yahoo), Craig Smith (NSH) - W - $4,400 (FanDuel)/$3,700 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo)

Defensemen:

Roman Josi (Nashville) - D - $6,800 (FanDuel), $7,200 (DraftKings). $29 (Yahoo)

Josi doesn’t come cheap for Tuesday night, as he has been rolling along offensively.  He has collected seven goals and 11 assists during a 10-game point streak.  Josi is up to 14 markers and 44 points in 41 contests this season.  He also has five goals and nine points in 14 career matches versus Boston, including two goals on Dec. 21.

Alex Pietrangelo (St. Louis) - D - $6,400 (FanDuel), $6,400 (DraftKings), $22 (Yahoo)

Pietrangelo has been red hot from the back end as well with five goals and 11 points in his past seven games.  He has earned one goal and one assist in each of the last two matches.  Pietrangelo netted two goals against San Jose on Dec. 21 to begin his recent productive stretch.

Bargain Bin: Cale Makar (COL) - $5,600 (FanDuel)/$24 (Yahoo), Zach Werenski (CLS) - $5,400 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo), Alexander Edler (VAN) - $5,300 (FanDuel)/$5,500 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo)

Goaltenders:

Braden Holtby (Washington) - G - $8,000 (FanDuel), $8,500 (DraftKings), $31 (Yahoo)

Holtby has a 9-3-1 record in his career versus Ottawa to go along with a 2.06 goals-against average and .931 save percentage.  His numbers have been much better at home this season with a mark of 9-2-3, a 2.66 goals-against average and .912 save percentage.  If the Capitals decide to give Ilya Samsonov the nod instead then that will save you some cap space on DraftKings.

Thomas Greiss (New York Islanders) - G - $7,400 (FanDuel), $8,100 (DraftKings), $29 (Yahoo)

Greiss has hit a bit of rough patch recently, but he has a favorable matchup on the road against New Jersey on Tuesday night.  He hasn’t faced the Devils this campaign, but in 2018-19 he went 3-0-0 versus New Jersey with a 1.27 goals-against average, a .963 save percentage and one shutout.

Bargain Bin: Jonathan Bernier (DET) - $7,300 (FanDuel)/$7,100 (DraftKings)/$23 (Yahoo), Igor Shesterkin (NYR) - $7,000 (FanDuel)/$6,900 (DraftKings)/$20 (Yahoo), Charlie Lindgren (MON) - $7,000 (FanDuel)/$7,700 (DraftKings)/$30 (Yahoo)
