NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.
Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.
Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

Thursday night has 11 games scheduled.
Nathan MacKinnon (Colorado) - C - $8,800 (FanDuel), $8,500 (DraftKings), $35 (Yahoo)
MacKinnon has compiled 10 goals and 20 points in the past 15 games. That includes two goals and two assists during a four-game point streak. MacKinnon also has 18 goals and 40 points in 25 matches on home ice this campaign. Additionally, he has five markers and 14 points in 13 career outings versus Ottawa.
Mika Zibanejad (New York Rangers) - C - $8,000 (FanDuel), $7,900 (DraftKings), $31 (Yahoo)
Zibanejad doesn’t come cheap, but he has supplied five goals and 12 points in the last nine games. That includes five multi-point performances. He had one goal and three assists in a 6-4 win over Winnipeg to start the 2019-20 season. Zibanejad has accumulated four goals and 14 points in 14 career matches against the Jets.
Mitch Marner (Toronto) - W - $7,600 (FanDuel), $7,500 (DraftKings), $30 (Yahoo)
Marner’s seven-game point streak was snapped on Saturday. It’s been a difficult task for the opposition to keep him off the scoresheet for a while now, as he has been held pointless in just three of his last 26 outings. Marner has 10 goals and 39 points during that stretch, including 11 points (one goal, 10 assists) in the past eight contests. Additionally, he has two goals and four helpers in six career meetings versus Arizona.
Kyle Connor (Winnipeg) - W - $6,400 (FanDuel), $6,500 (DraftKings), $23 (Yahoo)
Connor has produced four goals and 12 points in the last eight matches. He has three goals and five assists during a three-game point streak going into Tuesday night’s action. Connor is just two goals away from a third straight 30-goal campaign. He had one marker and five shots versus the Rangers earlier this year.
Anthony Mantha (Detroit) - W - $6,300 (FanDuel), $7,400 (DraftKings), $20 (Yahoo)
Mantha is expected to be back in the lineup on Tuesday night after suffering a punctured lung back on Dec. 21. He has 12 goals and 24 points in 29 appearances this season. Mantha makes for an intriguing play against the struggling Sabres in his return.
Jason Zucker (Pittsburgh) - W - $5,400 (FanDuel), $3,900 (DraftKings), $15 (Yahoo)
Zucker was dealt to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday night in exchange for Alex Galchenyuk, Calen Addison, and a conditional 2020 first-round draft pick. Assuming his prices don’t change and he makes his Penguins debut against Tampa Bay, he has plenty of upside. Zucker is a good shooter and skating alongside playmakers with the talent of Sidney Crosby or Evgeni Malkin could take him to another level.
Bargain Bin: Kevin Fiala (MIN) - $5,000 (FanDuel)/$4,500 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo) Chandler Stephenson (Vegas) - C - $4,000 (FanDuel)/$4,100 (DraftKings)/$15 (Yahoo), Anthony Beauvillier (New York Islanders) - W - $5,200 (FanDuel)/$4,100 (DraftKings)/$16 (Yahoo),
Cale Makar (Colorado) - D - $5,900 (FanDuel), $6,000 (DraftKings), $23 (Yahoo)
Makar has generated three goals and nine points in the last eight games. The rookie blueliner has one goal and four assists during a four-game point streak going into Tuesday night’s slate. That includes a power-play goal and one helper against Ottawa on Feb. 6 in a 4-1 win.
Shea Theodore (Vegas) - D - $5,600 (FanDuel), $5,900 (DraftKings), $19 (Yahoo)
Theodore has accounted for two goals and nine assists in the past nine games. He has four multi-point efforts during that stretch, including the last two matches. Theodore has one goal and one assist in each of the past two outings. He has tied his previous career-high with 37 points through 57 contests.
Bargain Bin: Nate Schmidt (VGK) - $4,300 (FanDuel)/ $4,800 (DraftKings)/$17 (Yahoo), Tony DeAngelo (NYR) - $5,200 (FanDuel)/$5,100 (DraftKings)/$20 (Yahoo), Colton Parayko (STL) - $4,700 (FanDuel)/$4,400 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo), Damon Severson (NJ) - $4,400 (FanDuel)/$4,200 (DraftKings)/$17 (Yahoo)
Robin Lehner (Chicago) - G - $8,100 (FanDuel), $7,300 (DraftKings), $28 (Yahoo)
Lehner was great in a 2-1 overtime loss to Boston on Feb. 5 in his last outing. He should be in line for Tuesday’s start after Corey Crawford played in Sunday’s loss to Winnipeg. Lehner also has a 5-1-2 record versus Edmonton in his career to go with a 1.86 goals-against average, a .943 save percentage and one shutout.
Jack Campbell (Toronto) - G - $8,000 (FanDuel), $8,100 (DraftKings), $26 (Yahoo)
Campbell was sharper in a 2-1 overtime loss to Montreal than he was in a 5-4 overtime win over Anaheim during his back-to-back starts for Toronto after being acquired from Los Angeles. Frederik Andersen is nearing a return to the lineup from a neck injury, but Campbell would be a solid play if he gets the nod. He has a 3-2-1 record with a 2.47 goals-against average and .920 save percentage versus Arizona in his career.
Bargain Bin: Jordan Binnington (St, Louis) - $8,100 (FanDuel)/$7,800 (DraftKings)/$26 (Yahoo), Jonathan Bernier (DET) - $7,300 (FanDuel)/$7,000 (DraftKings, Brian Elliott (PHI) - $7,500 (FanDuel)/$7,200 (DraftKings)/$29 (Yahoo)
