NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

Forwards:

Jack Eichel (Buffalo) - C - $8,200 (FanDuel), $8,300 (DraftKings), $34 (Yahoo)

Eichel has two goals and six assists during a five-game point streak going into Tuesday night’s action.  He has been held off the scoresheet just once in his last 10 outings, while producing five goals and 12 points over that span.  Eichel has five goals, which includes a four-goal performance back on Nov. 16, in three games versus Ottawa this season.  He has 10 markers and 24 points in 16 career matches against the Senators.

Sebastian Aho (Carolina) - C - $7,900 (FanDuel), $7,300 (DraftKings), $28 (Yahoo)

Aho has compiled nine goals and six helpers during a nine-game point streak going into Tuesday night’s match against Nashville.  He has four multi-point efforts during that span as well as 32 shots on goal.  Additionally, he has four goals and seven points in seven career meetings with the Predators.

Kyle Connor (Winnipeg) - W - $6,500 (FanDuel), $7,900 (DraftKings), $25 (Yahoo)

Connor has accounted for five goals and 13 points in the last 11 games.  He has 16 markers and 30 points in 30 contests on home ice this year.  Connor has also scored five goals and he’s added one assist in nine career matches versus Los Angeles.

Jason Zucker (Pittsburgh) - W - $6,000 (FanDuel), $5,100 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)

Zucker has two goals and one assist in three games since being acquired by Pittsburgh.  He has been playing well alongside Sidney Crosby since coming over in trade from the Minnesota Wild.  Zucker also checks in at good prices across the board, so he has plenty of bang for the buck upside.

Zach Hyman (Toronto) - W - $5,200 (FanDuel), $5,300 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)

Hyman is another player who qualifies as a bargain for Tuesday night’s slate.  He has four goals and three assists during a six-game point streak.  Hyman has amassed 12 points (six goals, six assists) in the past 11 matches.  He has been playing alongside Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner.

Bargain Bin: James van Riemsdyk (PHI) - W - $5,600 (FanDuel)/$5,200 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo), Zach Sanford (STL) - W - $5,000 (FanDuel)/$4,400 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo), Craig Smith (NSH) - W - $ 4,900 (FanDuel)/$4,100 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo)

Defensemen:

Kris Letang (Pittsburgh) - D - $7,000 (FanDuel), $6,800 (DraftKings), $23 (Yahoo)

Letang has four goals and four assists in the past seven games.  That includes three markers and three helpers during a five-game point streak.  Letang has been credited with 20 shots during that span.

Bargain Bin: Jaccob Slavin (CAR) - $5,100 (FanDuel)/$5,100 (DraftKings)/$19 (Yahoo), Matt Niskanen (PHI) - $4,700 (FanDuel)/$4,500 (DraftKings)/$17 (Yahoo)

Goaltenders:

Carter Hart (Philadelphia) - G - $8,000 (FanDuel), $7,700 (DraftKings), $29 (Yahoo)

Hart has played well since his return from an abdominal strain and he has been outstanding on home ice this campaign.  He has a 14-2-2 record with a 1.65 goals-against average and .941 save percentage at Wells Fargo Center in 2019-20.

Bargain Bin: Connor Hellebuyck (WPG) - $7,800 (FanDuel)/$32 (Yahoo), Carter Hutton (BUF) - $7,600 (FanDuel)/$7,600 (DraftKings)/$25 (Yahoo), Frederik Andersen (TOR) - $7,400 (DraftKings)/$23 (Yahoo), Jonathan Bernier (DET) - $7,100 (FanDuel)/$7,100 (DraftKings)/$35 (Yahoo)
