NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL). Yahoo has a $200 cap for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are six games in the NHL on Tuesday.

Mika Zibanejad (New York Rangers) - C - $8,000 (FanDuel), $8,100 (Draft Kings), $34 (Yahoo)

There are not too many players hotter than Zibanejad and if the Rangers have any chance to extend the series to Game 4, both Zibanejad and Artemi Panarin need to be at the top of their games. Zibanejad had a goal in Game 1 but was held off the scoresheet Monday. Look for the Swedish star to return to the stats sheet as the Rangers backs are against the wall.

Kyle Connor (Winnipeg) - W - $7,000 (FanDuel), $7,200 (DraftKings), $26 (Yahoo)

Connor is an underrated winger who can just pile up the stats. He had a marvelous 2019-20 campaign with 38 goals and 73 points in 71 games, his third straight 30-plus goal season. He has only one helper in two games against Calgary so he is due to break out.

Kevin Fiala (Minnesota) - W - $6,700 (FanDuel), $6,600 (DraftKings), $19(Yahoo)

Fiala had 26 points in his last 18 regular season games and he carried that over to Game 1 where he scored the opener (it was the game-winner as well) in a 3-0 win. Ride him until he halts his hot streak.

Bargain Bin:  Morgan Geekie (Carolina) - C - $3,400 (FanDuel), $3,100 (Draft Kings), $15 (Yahoo), J.T. Miller (Vancouver) - W - $6,800 (FanDuel), $6,200 (DraftKings), $25 (Yahoo) Nikolaj Ehlers (Winnipeg) – W - $5,400 (FanDuel) $4,700 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)

Ryan Ellis (Nashville) - $5,600 (FanDuel), $6,000 (DraftKings), $20 (Yahoo)

Ellis lost over seven weeks with a concussion suffered during the Winter Classic but still managed eight goals and 38 points in 49 games. He is partnered with the great Roman Josi and managed a goal in Game 1 against Arizona Sunday.

Tyson Barrie (Toronto) - $4,900 (FanDuel), $5,000 (DraftKings), $16 (Yahoo)

The Maple Leafs were shut down by the Blue Jackets on Sunday and need better play from their blueliners to garner some offense. Barrie had an extremely tough season in Toronto after an off-season trade from Colorado and the pending UFA needs a big post-season to regain his value as far as a new contract is concerned. He had five goals and 39 points this season after a 59-point effort in 2018-19.

Bargain Bin:

Neal Pionk (Winnipeg) - $4,600 (FanDuel), $4,800 (DraftKings), $19 (Yahoo)

Tony DeAngelo (New York Rangers) - $5,500 (FanDuel), $5,300 (Draft Kings), $20 (Yahoo)

Pekka Rinne (Nashville) - $8,000 (FanDuel), $8,000 (DraftKings), $27 (Yahoo)

Rinne did not get the start for Nashville Sunday as his 89-game streak as the starting goaltender for the Predators in the playoffs ended. While coach John Hynes has not named his netminder and Juuse Saros did start Game 1, I like the veteran to return to play against Arizona. Keep an eye on the starting goalkeepers, especially in this one and if Saros is the starter, then go with him.

Other plays:  David Rittich (Calgary) - $7,600 (FanDuel), $7,500 (DraftKings), $23 (Yahoo)
