NHL Plays: Wednesday 11/13

NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.  

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

Evgeny Kuznetsov (Washington) - C - $7,700 (FanDuel), $6,900 (DraftKings), $23 (Yahoo) 

Kuznetsov has compiled three goals and six assists during a four-game point streak.  He has registered a multi-point performance in each of those contests.  Kuznetsov has eight goals and 18 points in 16 matches this season.  

William Nylander (Toronto) - W - $6,000 (FanDuel), $5,000 (DraftKings), $20 (Yahoo) 

Nylander has four goals and two assists in the last four contests.  He has registered a multi-point effort in three of those matches.  Nylander has five goals and 10 points in the past 10 games, while playing alongside Auston Matthews

Alex DeBrincat (Chicago) - W - $6,400 (FanDuel), $5,900 (DraftKings), $22 (Yahoo) 

DeBrincat has generated two goals and four helpers in the past five games.  He picked up three assists on Sunday, while skating alongside Patrick Kane and Dylan Strome.  The trio combined for two goals and six assists in the contest.  They have great stack potential for Wednesday night’s slate.

Bargain Bin: Travis Konecny (PHI) - W - $6,400 (FanDuel)/$5,400 (DraftKings)/$21 (Yahoo), Brady Tkachuk (OTT) - W - $5,400 (FanDuel)/$18 (Yahoo), Brock Nelson (NYI) - C - $5,300 (FanDuel)/$5,000 (DraftKings)/$17 (Yahoo), Dylan Strom (CHI) - C - $4,700 (FanDuel)/$4,600 (DraftKings)/W - $18 (Yahoo), Jamie Benn (DAL) - $4,900 (DraftKings)/$19 (Yahoo)


John Carlson (Washington) - $7,200 (FanDuel), $7,700 (DraftKings), $30 (Yahoo) 

Carlson doesn’t come cheap, but his production this season has been incredible.  He has eight goals and 29 points through 19 matches.  That includes one goal and five helpers during a three-game point streak going into Wednesday night’s action.  Carlson has 12 shots on goal over that span and two power-play points.  

Bargain Bin: Philippe Myers (PHI) - $3,800 (FanDuel)/$3,300 (DraftKings)/$12 (Yahoo), P.K. Subban (NJ) - $4,800 (FanDuel)/$5,100 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo)


Braden Holtby (Washington) - $8,200 (FanDuel), $7,500 (DraftKings), $28 (Yahoo) 

Holtby has won each of his last four starts, while posting a .922 save percentage.  He also went 3-0-0 against Philadelphia last season to go with a 2.01 goals-against average and .933 save percentage.
